I kind of like the NHL's use of the gentle word 'pause' this morning. Gives me hope that maybe if everybody stays home for a bit we can get things under control and maybe still save the season.

I do suddenly have some gaping holes in my calendar. Hopefully not for long!!

It’s 18% not 3-7. The rate changes based on age

I've read 7% for people over 70. I haven't read 18 anywhere but these rates are preliminary.

I think these rates will change as reporting/testing goes up (most likely decrease), however, they're still worryingly high.

I was just thinking that this hockey shutdown is inconvenient for fans like myself. But what about people whose livelihood depends on covering it like Carol?
