Ok its time to shut down everything in an area where there is a confirmed case.
Declare mandatory quarantine, close businesses, schools etc. Patrol the streets and arrest non essential personal traveling.
In fact a New York area has quarantined a neighborhood. Well there is a high number of cases. I get it for that area.
IMO officials would have been better off saying that yes larger groups of people bring a higher chance of coming in contact with an infected person. Judge for yourself if attending an event is what you want to do. If you are sick stay home.
If there is not a community infection happening then the chances of catching the virus is very low. Berate the CDC doctor for basically stating that very thing.


Obviously there is a higher chance to contract the virus where there is a higher concentration of people.

My original post was a comment on a city official putting out a number for the size of an event that should make you reconsider attending. My point was what good does a made up figure do.
