i read about that since. it is very (frank)ed up.

they're born (hatched) with normal eyes and then one "migrates" over to the other side. it twists their (frank)ing skull!

They mainly live on the ocean floor so having both eyes at the top makes sense. But they swim sideways so yeah they have a blindside while swimming
