Zac's making a case to stay in the lineup, good for him.
- VanHockeyGuy

If he remembers to play like that every shift he will play on this team. He has a habit of taking time off. Motte might be a good mentor for him.

Zack has the skills but sometimes he gets lazy. When he want to put in the effort you really notice him.

Toffoli last night was in a heated battle in front with a defender, thought he was going to fight and didn't. Instead the puck went into the corner and he charged over and tried to lay a thundering hit on another Avs player. He missed and absolutely smashed into the boards but that's exactly the type of player this team needs. Play bigger than he is. Boeser could really learn from him. Same as the impact impact Miller is having on Virtanen.

Need to sign him, I think it will be tough though.

I really can't believe how shaky Demko has been. He looks nothing like the goalie he was before. same when Marky became a starter and nerves got the best of him for years. Demko just seems to be panicking almost when the puck comes towards him.

He did that in Utica too. He gives up goals in bunches.

I have seen some people say he is really calm and lets things go quickly but I think that is just the opposite. He says the right things but you can tell on the inside his brain is running a hundred miles an hour.

He has poor style when he is uncomfortable.

I don't think it will be tough at all. He will be a priority. I think he likes playing on Petey and JTMs line . Lots of scoring chances.

When he's going, he looks spectacular. I've seen many times where there's a play and he ends up square to the shooter and I think damn like this was Carey Price like. Marky is more a reactive goalie.

Stringing together a couple wins I think will help his confidence. The goalies he's allowing in can be easily stopped.

Boeser bumped down to Horvat's line?

I wouldn't have a problem with that except for his poopty defence and if Horvat is going to play against other teams top lines.

Or that's Virtanen's wing and Boeser is going to Gaudette's wing.

Jakes play in the last few games gives a little hope and flexibility to the team.

I would like them to fix that fourth line to be a proper shut down line and let us have three scoring lines.

I don't think it's possible to have an actual shut down line. Top 6 talent will beat any "shutdown talent" any team has. Beagle was always talked about a shut down centre but as we have seen, he can't nightly stop other teams top lines. It's got to fall on one of your teams top 2 centres lines.

Sutter the same thing, he can't shut down anyone. Van wins these games when Bo's line beats the other teams top lines.

Bolland's line use to shut down the Sedins.

I get what you are saying. I was listening to Green yesterday going on about Loui and was thinking it will be nice when other teams are worrying about shutting us down instead of the other way around.

One thing I am looking forward to is PodK is already a two way NHL skilled player.

I think it was way more common years ago.

I really don't know any team that has a 4th line shut down line anymore. Half the teams in the league their 4th lines play less than 10 minutes a game.

I listen to other commentators and they talk about shutting down Petey's line. I don't listen to other coaches press conferences though.

It is coming. Dim Jim is building a good forward group.

D still needs some work but overall I think they are okay. I think this year is already a success. Very entertaining .

When I have Pho I chop up an entire Jalapeno and put it in my bowl. My ass is on fire the next day though.

Can't underestimate how much a good situation can help in deciding to resign. What are some comparables? 6millx5?

I think good part of Canucks making playoffs is that they might show up more often next season. Entire team was playing hard last night. Same as the Boston game.

Sometimes I think they show up for the better teams.

I still don't there they'd go far, but sure for the experience and entertainment.

Get that 1st round pick issue dealt with as well.

Dr Drai should get the title. Edmonton had been poop for so long until he stepped it up this season. That guy put the coil over the top this season.

Hopkins deserves a lot of credit this year. Brought back secondary scoring lol.
