Yeah, the difference is like 1% odds for winning the lottery, it's meaningless. Winning this game is worth much more than that. - Pomegrant

My boy Mermis on a ~40 point pace over a full season now. |

He's obviously not that good, but you can see what a big difference it makes to get points from defensemen. And in Hynes system they were just so stifled offensively. |

I’m just hoping he, Claesson and Carrick convince the Devils they don’t need to make a qualifying offer to Mueller. I’ve seen enough of him. |

I'm afraid they are going to look at the lack of depth and re-sign him. Realistically you can't expect Smith and Bahl to make the jump and it's hard to add quality defense through free agency. Just not sure how we upgrade enough. |

Always fun to beat the Rags. Hope they miss the playoffs by 1 or 2 points because of this game. |

Odds that Kuok gets sent down tonight/tomorrow to play in Bings game tomorrow afternoon? I hope he does so he can keep playing |

That number is so gross - shvingter88
59 is like 69 with somebody not really doing their part.
Clearly that’s not directed at the Rangers because they were clearly sucking. |

It's not about winning the lottery though. It's about picking 10th vs 5th. If this team continues like this we may even be out of the top 10 because a bunch of kids are getting a hot and other teams aren't showing up to play us. That won't be the case next year and we NEED the best possible kid out of this draft to continue this rebuild. |

This is the team's first hot streak of the year. We're playing way above our norm and will tail off again. Also, the team with 10th best odds has 74 points which we're 6 back from. For us to jump all of these teams would take a lot of work.
Also, this is a deep draft so we're going to get a good player on top of the potential to have 3 picks in the first round. I think the young guys getting experience is worth a lot. The young players are getting ice time up and down the lineup and are actually playing really well. Picks 5-8 or whatever aren't going to be hitting the league for years, and even if we get a guy who makes the jump right away it's not like it makes us a contender anyway. |

Anyone know if next years draft is any good? Depending if our picks get pushed next year

This years draft overall is better than next years, both in terms of top end talent at the top of the draft or in terms of how deep the class is. In saying that, next year could be a good year for D though. As of now we could end up seeing as many as 5-6 D go in the top 10, including the next Hughes brother who could be top 2-3, but a lot can still change over the next year + |

The team hasnt officially announced it yet but according to the AHL transaction page Kuok was sent down late last night, so he should be back in for Bingo today |

I actually have no idea. Apparentely someone was a game time decision so they needed him there just in case that forward couldnt go. But Fitz does know we only get 4 regular recalls post deadline right? Wasting them like this does nothing, and now we only have 1 left. Then we can only recall players if its on emergency basis due to injury. |

A lot of college seasons will be ending over the next couple weeks, and i wonder if Bing will get any reinforcements for their playoff push. I'd like to see specifically Thompson and Walsh sign once their seasons end and hop right into their lineup to get some pro games under their belt for some experience |

Update. Kuok not in the Bing lineup today and the AHL transactions list has him being recalled today, so it was probably a mistake and he was likely never sent down. Hopefully he gets into the lineup next game then |

Next years draft is expected to be D heavy towards the top, including Luke Hughes. No one really projected to be the top pick yet. We should be hoping our picks are this year.
I think Seattle is also drafting next year as well. |

Bingo wins again! 6 in a row! 3-0. Boqvist keeps rolling with another goal, McIntyre with his 2nd shutout in 3 games since the trade |

It would be quite the gut punch if we don't get either of the picks. I fully expect it to happen. - willschulme
I'm optimistic. Yotes won't do great in the lotto, and Van should hold a wild card at the very least. We are looking good going into the draft. Just wish we would stop winning so many games down the stretch. Heck, we may end up with more points than Hall's Yotes. |

Lmao that'd actually be hilarious if that happened tbh. Its a shame for them that Kuemper got hurt immediately after making the move for Hall, i'd like to know where they'd be at right now if he was healthy all season. It's a good bet they'd probably still be top 3 in the pacific, or at the very least in a wildcard spot |

I'm tempted to buy the AHL package just to watch their playoff push. |
