It’s ironic really that the first word in your first sentence is “if”

You’re right, I didn’t want to give up the future for Miller or Toffoli or anchor the team to Myers or Ferklund, or Beagle or Rousel or Sutter etc. But they have, and so now I’m stuck either cheering for this mediocre team that thinks they can contend or continuing to female dog about the past. The thing that annoys me here is the bipolar retards who are chanting Stanley Cup during a 14 out of 17 game win streak and then panic an shout fire the coach when they lose 4 in a row. They are playing as well now as when they were winning, they just aren’t a contender, and that’s what we’re seeing.

All true. Maybe Coronavirus is putting posters on edge

I don’t like Green per se, but I don’t believe Prime years Scotty Bowman, or Pat Quinn, or Punch Imlach or insert famous, successful coach here - would have any better success with the team as currently constructed. Do people really believe that Gallant, who was just fired for underperforming with a team that many consider to be a contender is the answer?

Super overrated, notice that his replacement who everyone was calling a huge mistake has them playing better in every metric (including eyetest Minivan).

People are reactive to what's going on around them. Explains why very few were capable of handling a rebuild.

You keep saying they are playing just as well as they were before. They aren't though. They are controlling play MUCH less than before. Scoring less and giving up more goals.

PK is down. Shots against are up.

I don't think it would take much for them to change around the results. Coach is there to help right the ship.

Don't get dragged down with those people.

Nobody but Donna have any insider info on how Bo leads his team behind closed doors. Can't really trust Donna to not mix words.

Harman Dayal says Jordie Benn is better on the right than the left. Just another thing Green is getting wrong.
- manvanfan

He’s been deployed on both sides and been mediocre at best the majority of being deployed. This is a Benn issue, not a Green issue.

Maybe. They also dominated for two years under him. I think he lost the room and they made the right call, doesn’t mean Gallant isn’t a great coach.

Why would Green get the best out of his players?

Some of us bipolar retards have been spot on about Green from the start, it’s the Nucker wannabes that stand behind him

And you would be wrong....again. Gallant would have the team in 1st place with the talent.

It's hard to remember who's on which side when some flip flop all the time depending on how the team is doing.

He’s done pretty well by Jv, qh, Bo, EP, TP, TT and TJM all of whom have had career years(in the two young guys cases, have been developed/sheltered to succeed). Unfortunately, like many of us knew all along, this is a bubble team coming into the year. Now you all want to cry as we... are a bubble team it’s really something to watch, I’ll give you all that. I can see why my mom likes soap operas.

Well there is no mistaking what side I have been on for the last few years. These other guys will have to be Nucker1, Nucker2, and Insider Don.

Of this team?! Maybe, i think this team was already punching above it’s weight a bit and unless Gallant is going to strap on pads and go in net, he wouldn’t do much. Our d personnel is still lacking. Marky going down has just shown this. Maybe Gallant would tighten some things up, ill grant you that, but the goaltending has been the main issue.

I wouldn’t include you in that group. You have been very consistent on your Green hate, win or lose. You might be a rerard, but I don’t see you as a bipolar retard
