New cap increases cap floor. After bonuses for loui hes a slam dunk to be gone. Move Sutter sign marky tanev and tt with room to spare. Life is good

I think re-signing all those guys, for more money than they make now, doesn’t accomplish the “get better” mantra. I wouldn’t want to go longer than a couple years on any of those contracts.

I wonder if Sutter would be moved. He can be used in case a center gets injured. I can see him traded at TDL when it should be easy to move his contract if they wanted . I still think it is Sven who gets bought out.

I honestly can’t believe there isn’t one “contender” who would have taken a chance on him for a 5th round pick or something. Maybe the Canucks see themselves as a contender and will call him up as insurance for the playoffs!

I don't mind that. I do think there is a limit to what Canucks will offer . They came in at 4.5 . It will be fun to see and also provide days of debate.

I heard someone on the radio (can’t remember who) suggest that Markstrom was looking for $5.5 x 4 or there abouts and that this number was very far from what the Canucks were willing to do. That seems like a fairly good number if you believe he’s your guy for the next 4 years. I’m not sold he can play this well, that long.

Friedman was just on Tim and Sid and explained the escalator . He said in the past the players have been using 1% instead of 5%. He said because this is an unusual year because of the possibility of a lock out he said he fully expects the it to go the full 5% this year so that would bring it up close to 88.2 mil

Realistically, we should have kept the name "Vancouver Millionaires". That way would have had our name on the cup from the get-go. It would also hold value now, because you need to be a millionaire to own anything in Vancouver.

The Vancouver Millionaires jersey is my favourite to be honest.

That would be fair . I think you can get a couple of good years from him and on the last year or two Mike D would be still on a good bridge deal . I would be more concerned with the NTC

I heard Canucks were not interested . They had offers but Canucks said no. They value him more than the fan base does.

I was worried the league would be cancelling games because teams were over the cap.

What did the Coyotes do that the NHL is investigating them?

No team in league history has won a Stanley Cup wearing yellow on their sweaters, it's a symbol of cowardness (not sure if that's a word lol). The Skate logo and colors are a disaster and should be burned in hell.

I was reading players escrow is close to 14% right now with getting somewhere between 5-8 back, so they didn't want to use their increase because it could end up as losing closer to 18-20 %

Real good article by Cam.

I'd like to see him come over for next season to Utica.

I'd like to get ahead of the freak outs. Dahlen is 2 years older.

Tryamkin's team is 0-2 in the playoffs so far, if they go out 4 straight Canucks will be able to begin negotiations with him next Monday. He can come over anytime and play, including playoffs.

I don't think they can sign a player after Dec 1st.
