I’m still here. I thought for sure we would win the cup this year so I’m literally drowning in my own shambles |

We can all unite over the annual march tank. Well maybe not Tiny as he is probably in a Salts comma after the latest loss |

i dont think any of our coaching staff are qualified for that job. - Codes1087
We simply don't pressure the points and/or the guy with the puck. I've never seen anything like it - it is clearly the mandated "system" - ie. just box out the front 10 feet of the net and let the goalie see the shot. Fact is the system is terrible and doesn't work very well. Markstrom stood on his head all year to help us along. If Demko steps up we will be fine. If Demko lets in 3+ goals a game we are cooked.
Myers is an offensive liability because he has no offensive IQ but thinks he does. How many great passing sequences are lost because the puck ended up on Myers stick and he clearly doesn't have a clue what to do. His stick is really good in the d zone and that saves him. It is too bad that he doesn't crush players on the boards though. A good coach would tell myers to play like Murray Baron...ie. you are a stay at home defenseman

Canucks make playoffs still, they are still a better team than the rest of the pacific other than Vegas.
They need 20 pts in 17 games? Easy.

This teams confidence is as fragile as demkos head and as soft as Sutters groin - CanuckDon
Honestly I am not surprised. The problem I had with the roster heading into this season was that the team seemed to lack quality depth and while its better than previous years, I think they needed another season for the middle 6/bottom 4 to prove they could step up in a pinch before going for it.
They've invested too much now to go full tank, so I hope they can rally, but it would really suck to see them miss or be knocked out quickly in the first round |

Their secondary scoring has completely disappeared. The offence all revolves around Miller. Where would this team be without him? Probably bottom 5 |

I don't think the team lacks confidence they just need to be told how to defend in their end. Demko might lack confidence now but shorty was saying how Demko is such a confident kid that a bad game (or 2) shouldn't affect him. He needs to make 3-4 exceptional saves a game for us to have a chance to win..... |

I think all else considered this year, they still wouldn't be bottom 5 without Miller. I'd guess they'd probably be where Chicago is. Now if Markstrom was gone (or just more pedestrian), then I'd say they would be bottom 5. Even with Miller they still give up the 4th most shots per game, which I think has more to do with the bottom 6/defense |

From the last couple games I've watched, I think there is some timidness thats crept in there. They haven't been great defensively this year, but they've had some resiliency to battle back that I haven't seen lately. I'm not sure if its more fatigue than confidence, but something feels off |

I have heard that too. Fact is if he actually dropped the mitts on a regular basis I could probably forgive him a little for standing around. Not much but at least if you are a punching bag it is somewhat acceptable. Fact is he stands there like a stallion but all we smell is the manure..... |
