I like that the team seems to put out the effort for the guy. When they're good again, we'll see if he's the right guy. Maybe the experience in the interim will help him.

I mean. Look at the timing of the whole sequence. Seems pretty obvious to me. The Piggies are in San Antonio. Can't imagine there are many direct flights from there to Miami at that time of the day.

Instead, he double shifted Kane and used Saad/Cagguila as well

When he reinserted Nylander, it was back in his regular spot with shortened shifts - and to spell Kane for his double shifting

I am not gonna say anything about Hawks still having a chance to make the playoffs. But, when I look at the remaining schedule, and we are now, most importantly, Gus-less, then I guess it is possible for playoffs. Especially in a weak Western Conference.

Bbb..bb..bu....but ...the draft odds! Draft can be luck anyways. Vancouver's blog highlighted that concept. I'm still thankful Tallon wasn't scared off by Kane being too small and taking big James Van Reimsdyk. Also Boqvist looks good with his poise that enable us to score goals. Makes all the difference in tight playoff games to have playmakers like him.
