Ok so nobody is getting the (frank)ing joke right?
Herp a derp Lou = Pageau for 1st + 2nd + Cond 3rd HERPPPPPPPPPPPPP a deeerp
Muzzin for 1st + 2nd* (Grundstrom aka Hunter the MORON*) + 2nd* (Durzi aka our lord and saviour's overage super pick steal from the Greyhounds*)
This is the stupid argument going back and forth with nobody really tackling it, so please do from these stupid positions. - AdamFrench
uh, what the actual (frank)? |

Probably because there's like 3 months of age difference between he and Matthews. - BINGO!
so all prospects are supposed to be offensive stars now? |

Don't worry about it. None of us can interpret if he's agreeing with you or giving you poop ...or both?
It's a riddle wrapped inside a mystery inside of an enigma. |

If I am the Leafs I would look at it.
I don't think I see the motivation from Phaneuf's perspective - Aetherial
He’s 34 years old, and 31 teams told him to go frank himself.
That’s the motivation. |

and I'm saying he's unlikely to get there if he hasn't been able to stick on a bad Kings team at the age of 22.
He's still got a bit of time, but it's running out very fast. - BINGO!
he's in the last year of his entry level deal. the kings didn't go into complete sellers mode at the deadline, they are going to retool? i guess? |

I posted this the other night but most guys were in bed. Only 8 of the last 20 cup champs even had a player in the top ten in scoring and only twice did the scoring champ win the cup in the same year. It’s not the 80s, with 31 teams things have changed. Not that having those guys isn’t good but if they cost too much on the cap it can really challenge a club to have the depth to win it all. |

Because 31 teams have rightfully identified that he's poop.
He also hasn't played an NHL hockey game in nearly a calendar year.
He hasn't played well in an NHL hockey game in nearly 10 years.

Sure, if he wants to return to the NHL? I don't know if he does.
I feel like I would not want to take a chance on being the goat (no Caps), without the possible benefit of getting to the playoffs. |

He obviously has one set of standards for the players he likes and another for the ones he doesn’t. It’s pretty transparent. If only he could see that. - Dozzer
NO. more simpleton interpretations.
you think i love grundstrom and i don't, he is however still a good prospect. |

He also doesn’t skate well enough to play the leafs current system I guess. There’s arguments for both sides |

And to take it one step further ....
There seems to be a random connection between the ones he likes being the ones Dubas has traded away and the one's he dislikes being the ones Dubas has acquired.
This applies to players, prospects, and generally any decision. - The Law
yeah, no.
almost every move dubas has made has blown up in his face so far. |

I’m back because I’m unable to work. I got diagnosed with epilepsy about 5 years back and it’s blown up my life. Can’t work in road construction as a project manager when you’re not allowed to drive (rightfully so considering the nature of my seizures). But since the meds aren’t taking I can’t work now and it’s hospital visit after hospital visit to prep for brain surgery. Spent two weeks in an epilepsy ward in January... man that sucked.
Funny thing is... all those years you guys kept saying I had brain damage and I actually do!!! - Dozzer
Sorry to hear that. That's a rotten roll of life's dice. I know someone from Sarnia with a tumor that gives her seizures. Really (frank)s your life up. Hope you have a good union plan. |

Unless we get a rental real cheap, I think the team just needs to pick up the weakened defense.
Carolina shut us down to protect the goalie. A good team should be able to work around this... it is quite a problem though. |

So you are saying twice the scoring champ won? The scoring champ is one player. There are 31 teams in the league....
1/31 chance that player wins the cup.
Top 10 in scoring? 10 players. 31 teams.
You are reaching extremely hard on that one.
Don’t know who it was...but someone said some of you are on HB to convince everything Leafs is half glass empty. Spot on. |

That’s the real kick in the nuts. I took a buyout with the intention of moving more into a drafting position at an engineering firm and then got diagnosed with epilepsy in the 6 weeks that followed.... so I wasn’t employed when I got diagnosed so I got (frank)ed over royally |
