my issue - the defense is the first line of goal prevention.

it's difficult to judge freddy with so much bad play in front of him.

they need to get their poop together. need to figure out if freddy can be better behind a more disciplined team.

Agree defense an issue, also think the puck possession philosophy backfires regularly. The fk'n backpasses in your own zone then coughing up the puck delivering a grade A opportunity instead of getting the puck the fck out of your zone has been an obvious weakness. That said - Freddy has been very good some nights and lousy on many - need to make a save - especailly a timely save. There was a recent loss where Freddy allowed a first shot goal in all three periods - unacceptable.

Your win % numbers are skewed. Andersen is playing in an ERA where there are no ties. Broda lost only 101 games out of 629 played - his winning percentage and career numbers are therefore much better than you suggest.
