No idea if it would make a difference or not but I would rather look at where the Leafs are in terms of high danger shots vs. shooting % alone. Misleading if the Leafs are hanging their tendies out to dry, which optically seems to be the case a lot of the time.

Tampa's D looked baad against the Leafs. Hedman wow if he made those mistakes in Toronto..

Florida is going to come out hard. Every game is important this time of year, so they need to have a next man up mentality.

We need to start on time, take it one shift at a time, take care of the details, maintain gap control, clear the front of the net, take care of the rebounds, win the puck battles, stay out of the penalty box, poo before the game, capitalize on our chances, get the puck in deep, finish our checks, play for the whole 60 minutes

Matthews doesn't care guys. He's only the best 5 on 5 goal scorer in 28 years and on pace for 55 goals, 95 points. He's 3rd in NHl in takeaways, but he's a real problem. Poor Freddy and his 35th ranked save %...

he's waiting for perfection/optimal time to really make a run.

the leafs will wait forever with that strategy - as there will always be several reasons why this year isn't the perfect year.

at some point you have to say (frank) it and go balls out with your imperfect team. we have enough good pieces to piss on the future.

the (frank) up was edmontoning up our rfa's circa 2012. not enough money for good depth pieces to offset our young stars shortcomings.

the wins against pitts and tampa, the leafs actually helped freddy out and played relatively well defensively.

well, except for sandin and loljegren who looked like pylons against tampa.

reducing goals against is a team effort. forwards need to help out again tonight. sending malgin to the press box will be an automatic upgrade in that department.

They play a 57 year old for 22 minutes a night because he's allowed to do whatever he wants to the opposing forwards. Elbow, cross-check, spear, drop-kick.. you name it, he is allowed to do it.

I feel it's mostly the latter. Rask is a good goaltender with a good team helping in front of him.
