They shouldn’t allow staged fighting like that, get in between them and that’d be the end of that. Fights like Tanev had tonight are fine, spontaneous, although you can still get hurt they’re not a sideshow.

Trust me, it serves a purpose though, it keeps guys honest.

Poor bo, I bet he can't wait for some talent on his line, I would put in zack mac for Loui just for some young energy and see what happens csnt be worse.

I think just about every Canuck fan would do that, not the Great Green, he likes how Loui fits into his excellent systems.

Exceeded for me, I thought we’d be on the outside looking in and 19 games left and we are right in the thick of things. Hughes has made a bigger impact than i think anyone predicted. I think i was saying 40, which was considered insane, along with a few others. No one was saying 50. He hit 51 today and seems to not be slowing down offensively.

Miller and Marky to, I didn't know much about miller when Jb traded for him and I don't think he played like this with Tampa but he sure embraced his role and running with it, he puts the team on his back especially lately and the young ones are learning.

Demko reminds me a lot of Marky a couple years ago: bad goals, scrambly, not tracking the puck super well, would come up with a huge save or two, but generally shaky. He'll be fine in time, but it took Markstrom a while – remember he was once considered the best goalie not playing in the NHL when he was with Florida's AHL team.

Demko is capable. But the nervous signs of trying to get this club in the PO's will weigh heavy. It's alot. But remember, we were also 4-4-2 over Marky's last 10 healthy games. There is no indication that this club will play better than .500 Hockey down the stretch. Especially giving away 2 points to clubs like Ottawa in a playoff hunt.

Marky masked a lot of the deficiencies of the club’s D, Demko isn’t capable of doing that yet on a consistent basis. The Canucks need to realize that and play A LOT tighter on the back end. Hopefully they fired Baum in the offseason and bring someone in to help implement a new system (because I’d doubt they fire Green unless the Canucks don’t win another game all year)

There's masking deficiencies and other than the first goal Demko let in, the defence left him to dry. Couldn't get out of their zone or tie up a stick.

Codes is still crying at watching Fatburger Myers pairing.

Ruby is in shambles after LE played 3:30 less than the 3rd lowest forward. LE still deserves to ride the bus in Utica

All the Calder talk going to Hughes's head, trying to do too much.

The defence is improved from last season by they are far from one of the best in the league. Baumer isn't going unless Green is fired as well. Might have to wait in season for those two to happen.

Sorry if i'm late on this, just reading it now.

Abbott on Hoglander : “It is not all about points, he is not in the WHL or OHL playing 30 minuters a night. He plays the right way, he has been solid for us. We have a really good team. Nils is dynamic and tons of potential, I have no concern about his points total.”

I think their win streak got into all their heads — they’ve been playing like they don’t have to put into the work to win, and that they can score at will. Young team. Has happened a few times this season already, and they’ve been able to turn it around.

The D zone bugs me so much — no one picking anyone up, taking a body or a stick, and when they do get the puck they either overpass it backwards, or try some aerial to the opposition blue line which never works.

And yes, LE shouldn’t be playing. Hopefully after last night TG injects some youth and fire, both things LE sorely lacks.

This.

Terrible coverage, in the defensive end, comes back to 2 things, either the players aren't capable or the system is terrible.
Far to many times every player is watching the puck with and very little picking up the open man.
