I read today that Markstrom will be re-evaluated in two weeks, hopefully nothing serious.
The last 20 games will definitely be difficult, 14 of them are against Conference opponents and 10 are in the Pacific, Arizona 3 times, Calgary 1, Vegas 2, Avalanche 2, Jets 1, Dallas 1, the games against those teams will be the measuring stick. - Makita
They have had some let downs but when it came to measuring sticks this season Canucls have looked good. Chances are they will get through those teams looking better and ready for the play offs with players coming back from injury improving the team more. Well that would be the scenario you think gets us all riled up. |

Oil may make the play offs but they aren't built to win in them like the Canucks. You might have to accept liking Canuck chances more now. - NuckUp

That’s tough, I really hope they play well and get in, they deserve it. |

You probably wish the Canucks were built like the Flyers, extremely well coached, deep, good mix of veterans and youth with outstanding goaltending

Mr. Brown, your team success is only because of Vingeault, everything else is mediocre.. - Makita
Oh come on now, Coots is a first line center on every team in the league except Edmonton, Colorado and Pittsburgh, plus, they have three great wingers in Giroux, TK and Voracek.
They're a better than average team and it shows in the standings |

Flyers, if they make it, will get destroyed by the Penguins...should be a fun 5 game series. |

Have I told you all how much I hate Sportsnet reporting?
It’s so (frank)ing inaccurate and lame for anything or anyone outside of the Ontario market.
Just saw their TDL rankings. Infuriating. |

You have to scroll to a 2nd or 3rd page to get any sniff of the canucks typically but the flailing Leafs are everywhere.
The article's title doesn't make sense anyway - you have Grades on trade deadline performance but then the "power rankings", which are always total garbage. You know what the real power rankings are? The standings and last 10 games played.
Luke Fox is a total hack. He should stick with ping pong. |

Dave this is all on Vingeault, and you know it. Those players would be nice complimentary players on most other teams. |

He could use a little more sandpaper in his game, he was stepping it up against Domi last game, but I agree not much consistency. |

I wondered if his knee was still bothering him but he is pretty invisible.
I am hoping Green saw the chemistry between Toffoli and Horvat and teams them up with Pearson. I thought for sure Loui would get bumped down after the TDL, but it seems so obvious to put them together and then have another pair up with Miller and EP. Do a Pat Quinn and put big Mac on the right side, and just put him in front of the net. |
