other than a couple of doozies, the leafs have a relatively easy next 10 games or so, and with the Panthers seemingly losing their minds and imploding, the leafs should be fine for a playoff spot

At this point, I would guest most of us have no idea what to expect or what is going to happen.

I think it is clear that the talent is there to contend, although a ways to go still before winning. The problem is that the effort is so sporadic that it is impossible to have any confidence in any assessment of the team.

I don't like their chances against either.

On the other hand, if fully healthy, and actually motivated. It would not surprise me to see them beat either team.

The problem is they have not been healthy for even one game this year, and motivation seems to be a coin toss with this group.

Was saying that all game. Leafs and Tampa play a similar run and gun game. If the Leafs can drag them into that it's anyone's game. But once they run into a physical team, the worry seeps in exponentially.

With Tampa, it comes down to the play of Vasilievskiy and Andersen.

With Boston, it comes down to how many more powerplays will the refs give the Bruins before the Leafs get one PP chance?

With Florida just finishing up a long west coast road trip, the Leafs are set up to put it to them, very tough coming back to the east coast & wining that 1st game, 6-2 Leafs!

Got to focus on selling the house here, building the new place, selling the Benz (as the nearest dealership is 3 hours away in Halifax) and getting a new car. But yes a boat or two is definitely on the list of things to get.

Since the Leafs coaching change they have a .634 points %. People are very pessimistic about the Leafs. Over the same time period the Colorado Avalanche have a .638 points %. People are very optimistic about the Avalanche.
