Whitout a doubt he's strong and can do well in any short workouts that are stritcly barbells, but terrible form and I counted alot of no-reps where there bar did not touch the ground.

He didn't cherry pick it, they invited him (because they wanted people to actually attend their event) and they suggested it. He obliged and did it better than anybody else. I just don't get all the hate I've seen from crossfitters on it. If Usain Bolt strapped on skates for the first time and was faster than McDavid would people be female doging about his strides and gates not being ideal? Can't people just enjoy watching somebody be great? He showed up without training or practice and did it the best it's ever been done...that's phenomenal

i can't see Bergevin spending that type of money on a backup because it will mean admitting that spending $10.5 million on Carey Price was a terrible idea. it will either be Lindgren or some other fringe journeyman backup and Price will end up starting 65-70 games again.

I'm not female doging, I'm just saying that's it's not surprising that one of the best weightlifters did great at lifting weights.

I wouldn't be surprised if Usain Bolt would break the world record at a 250m shuffle run if he tried it out either

I don't know, he's been good at putting guys like Alzner, Peca ect in the minors and cutting short some of his experiments with guys like Semin even if he gave them one-way NHL contracts. He has alot of pride but we've also seen him step on his ego for the good of the team.

yeah but this is his franchise cornerstone, it's a bit weightier. and this was a very clear need last summer as well and his solution was a guy we all knew wouldn't start more then 12-15 games.
