I think the Leafs finally have adversity. They never had a reason to play angry. That’s what they were missing. IMO. Every arena the Leafs come to attracts a crowd. Many Leafs supporters, everywhere. Look how pumped Buffalo gets to play us. Every good team finds something that they play for. Maybe the Zamboni incident is our silver lining. They have become the jokes of the league. Now they can finally bond. Us vs the world mentality. Or what I call. Playing angry

in all seriousness, they did what the needed to in the third "for the most part".. and without Muzzin held the lead.

certainly a better effort... big question is can they get that level of effort across the team the next game...

Whatever it was they came out and played a lot harder tonight... so good. Also seeing Nylander score because he was parked on front of the net was really really nice to see. Don’t see him there too much.

Why are peeps female doging. I thought they did a decent job in the third. Kept most of the stuff to the outside. Clogged the lanes and only goal against was a lucky one. (frank) people are wacked on here...

I think it has less to do with playing angry and more to do with entitlement.

This Leafs team is very young and very skilled. They think they're the best. The problem is, winning in the NHL is done by those who prove they're the best. You need to have skill to win but you also have to have the will to prove you're better than the competition. The Leafs have the skill, they are missing the will.
