I just don’t kñow what to do anymore. The whole organization makes me lose all hope and love for the team I always had growing up. I may be done watching for a bit because the results are like Groundhogs Day with Bill Murray.

I've watched one game this year, and have listened to a few on the radio. I've missed nothing.

The media fear mongering is doing its work when posts like this make it to hockeybuzz

Lot's of issues with this team, but if I were Botts, I'd put some effort into trying to trade for some teams hidden gem (think Chicago's Dominik Hasek in '92). That kind of trade is extremely rare and I'm probably nuts for even bringing it up, but damn, wouldn't it be nice to make that sort of swindle/trade again ?

We need an all-star quality netminder. Make it happen, Botts.

We have 6k .. but a gem would be Sorokin
Super star soon...or draft Askarov ( I think he Will be the best goalie In the NHL when he comes in I would say the Connor mcdavid of Goaile

Nope ! Hoping for a 3 point game between the Devils and Anaheim today. I can smell a top 7 pick at this point which would be an absolute game changer for this franchise.

Secure the pick and I don’t care if we move our next 5 first rounders if need be to get in the playoffs next year.

I don’t want to get my hopes too high for Cozens right now but what he is doing in the WHL is mind numbing. He is looking like an absolute steal right now at 7th overall.

We are probably looking at 7-10. Some good players in that range. Maybe Lundell falls to us but probably not.

That and watching Bogosian mess things up for the Bolts.

“It took the Flyers a long, long time to get where they are today. Currently have the highest pts pct. (.633) since 2011. Three GM’s, five coaches, tons of high draft picks during a long, painful rebuild.

Having a stud in goal certainly helps.” -Steve Kournianos.

I really do believe if we can upgrade from Hutton and bring in a 2C everything else will fall into place here just like it for for Philly. Completely bottoming our this year is just the icing on the cake.

I haven't checked in a few days but David Pagnotta at the Fourth period suggests Botterill could be out after the season concludes.

Chel Squared @ChelSquared Feb 28

New: Dave Pagnotta @TheFourthPeriod believes the Buffalo Sabres could have a new GM in charge this summer.

"We could definitely see a change in the GM position with the Buffalo Sabres"

" My understanding was from the ownership how Botterill was going to navigate through the trade deadline before making an ultimate decision on his future"

"I suspect we are going to hear a little bit of news after the season wraps up over what the managerial direction the Buffalo Sabres are going to go into next season"

" Do you think Botterill will be replaced? There is a good chance of that and that topic is being discussed by the higher ups"

That is a very good plan, try to find the best player of all time at a position, and trade nothing for them.

Eichel is clearly playing hurt. He is not nearly
the threat offensively as a healthy Jack is. I like the pop from the new guys but without a healthy Jack, we are not a competitive team.
I’d keep Kahun and Vesey. Simmonds is a force but he is just too slow now. I’d move Montour and Miller in the off season. Both are always out of position and don’t have the offensive upside to make up for it. I’d play Pilut over them. McCabe can be a bottom pair stay at home D man. He’s serviceable in a low minutes role. Keep Risto. The return won’t be worth letting him walk.
That means we have some serious work to do this summer

At some point you have to stay the course. You can’t keep changing GM’s and coaches like you change your underpants.

So where does that Kid Simmonds go in the NFL Draft, Love to get are hands on him, what a LB Core we could have.
- Buff36

Top10, maybe top5
No chance we get him

Patrick Queen from LSU might fall to us though
Which could allow Edmunds to shift outside
Idk that they’d go in that direction,
but i wouldn’t hate it
