No, I posted that it is an issue with Krueger, he said Skinner doesn't practice hard and he's lazy at times.

From my experiences, that saying is a lot of bullpoop.

The true greats have massive abilities and practice extremely hard.

As far as talented players with ability go, that is the exception and not the norm.

- kingcong39

Sorry accidentally flagged you. Well obviously what ever he's doing isn't working, cause he looks like poop on the ice.

Prob true for literally ALL players at some point. Funny i heard none of this last year when he was scoring 40.

I get it though, you don't produce your under the microscope.

So you have a pair of seats around friends you've made over the 25 past years

Pairs of tickets in 121 , 101, 109, 113 went from 4,700 to 6,000.

No issues here?

Wait until the Sabres are good, see how much season ticket holder want for their tickets.

My seats went up, not enough to quit. Sucks for the true fans.

Especially the Sabres bucks dropping from 2.5% to 2%

- Boss34

The income levels of the season ticket holders are most likely generally correlated to where they sit. It's definitely not an exact science, but most likely, the better your seats, the less likely money is an issue. It becomes about value more than cost. That's why some sections went down, and some went up. They need to sell that without actually saying it out loud.

The scene in Rudy where the offensive lineman tells Rudy he's making everyone look bad with how hard he is working compared to the other more talented players is far closer to reality than many know.

I see it all the time: a player's talent level is often directly related to how hard they need to work, meaning players often only work as hard as they need to in practices related to their overall skill level, and many save their top effort for games.

- kingcong39

This may all be true, but Kreuger is trying to change the culture of loosing here. I would think that starts with a message of consistent full effort all the time, game or practice. If you have one guy that wont practice hard and is also not producing on the ice, its not hard to imagine not only Kreuger getting pissed but his teamates as well. Toss in the big contract and it feels pretty ugly. This is also on our sports inspiration guru coach for not being able to get through to him.

Did they go up that much? I didnt look deep into it but in sec 100 seemed like it only went up like a buck a game

But im with you how much are they worth. How long do i wait for them to be good

- hubie

I'm lucky like you in 122. $57 to $58 . No big deal.

But, the sections to your left 101 and my right 121 were priced $57 each like our sections.

Now they are grouped with 102 and 103, 119 and 120. Corner defend mid for $68.25

And the other corners corner attach mid 71.80 for 109 and 113 up form $57

That blows

Although I think they are trying to group th season ticket holders behind the nets, so it looks better on tv????

If Skinner had 19 goals he could point to the quality of linemates, the coach, etc.

But he has 12 goals, he's just totally sucked. Last year he had more than 12 goals where no one did anything, he just took the puck and blew into the zone past defenders and scored all on his own.

It's 100% on him.

That said, Skinner isn't suffering for it. he's making his 9 mil and will make it again next year. If he had 15 more goals this is probably a playoff team. It's up to Botts and Ralph to figure out how to wake him up. It's also on Botts that he hasn't been able to find one NHL center in 3 years, and traded one away for nothing.

- matty12345

His individual expected goals/60 is 25th in the NHL right now. Still upper echelon

It’s a combination of three things

Bad luck/lack of ice time/off PP1. Period

The coach is burying him because he’s not a Selke caliber forward

I agree with this post.

The corner seats do not apply.

Raising lower corners 20- 25% ? Long time season ticket holders. $57 seat people are not the richer group.

I get raising center ice tickets and clubs

Worst contract in league. Botts should be fired for many reasons but this one on its own is fireable

If this pertains to the Sabres as well, then that doesn't speak well for Skinner.
His level of loafness must be off the charts to be singled out so dramatically.

I said this a few weeks ago about Skinner and how Krueger has mentioned that the players that show they want to be here and want to play will get to play (paraphrasing a bit) and that guy's like Miller were taking a bit longer to adjust to the system.
If Skinner wasn't the $9m man, I'm sure he would have sat already.
Won't be long before you start hearing that Krueger is a bully. Can't imagine him playing for Lindy or Torts.

Meanwhile, the Skinner defenders are all:

Bruce Smith was notorious for never practicing in training camp, and took numerous off days during the season for practice.
- buffalofan19

He’s was also arguably a top 3 DE of all time.

Bo Jackson never practiced nor worked out.

It's pathetic, agreed.

Jeff Skinner is one of the hardest working players in the game.

IMO, let's not hang it on the coach, that is reaching too far especially in view of the actions he has taken already. If he has done nothing, then ok, I get it.

Now, it is squarely on the Player, first and foremost., then on the Player Leadership group if they are not taking enough leadership and holding the player accountable. Peer pressure is quite a tool.

Maybe he asks for a trade in the offseason...get him to remove his NTC (NMC) in its' entirety...then move him to Winnipeg, lol. Nice and far away from the sun and family

No because that’s the price that was listed $26.25.

I always just divide it by the regular season.

3 preseason games and a free Rochester game are meaningless.
