His career as a Zamboni driver involves extensive experience in moving slowly in one direction before changing course in the other and repeating that over and over again while going in circles, so sounds like we just found our next Sabres GM.

From article in The Athletic about Ayers the Zamboni driving star goalie.

Sad that the Sabres as an organization is viewed as a joke in the minds of many. Teri and Kym you are no Seymour and Norty.

Dylan Strome - At the start of this season, I would have said there is NO CHANCE that the Hawks part with Strome. Now, I'm not so sure that, as well as, where his next contract may net out based on his season. The fact that the Hawks C depth right now is Toews-Carpenter-Dach-Kampf is telling. Do they not see Strome as a C? Or are they happy to just keep him there to keep his value down? I believe Colliton should put him back in the middle, play him with his bud, DeBrincat and let him play out the year in his natural position. Strome has already dealt with a lot of adversity in his early days as a pro, don't mess up his development.

What would it take to get Dylan Strome from Chicago?

His numbers are down this year from last, as he's playing at a 16 goal and 36 assist 82 game pace.

Could he be a prime center trade target with what the Hawks think of Dach?

The bench was also quite loose after they watched rookie sensation Dominik Kubalik score a hat trick. He now has 29 goals(!) on the year.

Listen, I love the way Makar and Quinn Hughes play the game and they are going to be dominant in this league for years, but Kubalik has to be in the Calder conversation – especially if he ends up with 35-40 goals.

To be honest, I am terrified of that next contract for #8. Depending on the term, he's got to be climbing up to the $4M-5M dollar range – no?

Selfishly as a fan, it would be best if Kubalik's name wasn't in the Calder conversation amongst the league because that's just more ammo for his agent during negotiations.

Regardless, I'm happy he's a Hawk. Let's not mess this one up by trading him, STAN!

Call Stan to see if he's off his rocker enough to do a trade for both Strome and Kubalik?

Who cares?

Writers and many fans love to kick an organization while they're down.

Before July 1st.

Tell Stan we'll trade him the exclusive negotiating rights to Frolik.

King, my Buddy called me a few weeks ago and said the Sabres tried to get both, he said Chicago turned down the Sabres offer at that time. I think this is one of those things that will be revisited in the offseason. I don't think Kubilak will be included this time.

I hope many on here can live with Strome's lack of footspeed.

Strome is great in other areas, but many knock Reinhart for being slow.

That's a definite knock, but they're so starved for quality center play.

They'd have to be nuts to move both, unless the respective raises of both is something they cannot afford.

It would be quite humorous if the Sabres trade them a defenseman for Strome after the Nylander - Jokiharju deal last year.

Well if you want a young C to fill a spot until Cozens is ready, Strome could fill that spot and then go to Wing. The guy can dish and might get Skinner going.

Apparently there is a " rift " so to speak between Skinner and Krueger, Krueger does not like Skinners practice habits. They say he's slow and lazy in practice and doesn't seem to want to change. Krueger feels that Skinner should be ready and hustle even though it's practice but it seems this is not changing. Just another reason why he doesn't get " rewarded " I guess you can say on game days. Skinner doesn't look happy.

Or he can be their 3C long term as well.

Trading for Bonino and Strome immediately makes them much better down the middle.

Is Skinner pouting cause he's not playing with Eichel, and did you hear anything on Eichel, does he have a wrist injury.
