Classic, after every season the final presser of Larry, Darcy and Lindy up there and listening to all Darcy and Larry's bulls$$t and Lindy looking over at the both of them and wanting beat the hell out of both of them. There were players Lindy wanted but Darcy refused to get them.
- SABRES 89

I miss Lindy.

I know he ran his course, but I still miss him.

He definitely is.

I never take much from a front office person, but he has a composure about him that makes it worth the listen.

The Cordy Glenn trade was essentially a second round pick value back to the Bills. He played 19 games for one of the worst teams in the league and is "probably" going to get cut.

My favorite part about him is there are no canned answers. He gives you everything he can just short of giving private information away.

It’s everything I’ve been saying for some time.

We need to start looking at Skinner and trying to figure out what the issue is with him. You can’t just blame coaches and the other players constantly.

He’s paid to be an elite goal scorer. He shouldn’t need a top of the line centerman to produce at a different rate than Girgensons.

To preface, a large amount of blame goes to the player, and some here would rather blame the coach for not putting guys in the best possible positions.

However,, it's part of Ralph's job description to get Skinner back on track. There's something definitely wrong with him, physically mentally or both.. It needs to be fixed and both sides must buy in.

It would definitely help to get him a competent center.

He's having a bad year and that's it. center or no center he's having a bad year. Players go through it, doesn't mean he stinks, he's just not having a good year.

Correct, and it’s partially why this team is where it is. If skinner produces even at a 25-30 goal rate then this team is better and competing for a spot.

If everyone hit their projected point totals, we would be better suited.

It's a down year for the team, that didn't get down as long as last season, but it is unfortunate to have a lot of players getting below expected point totals.

When asked about Skinner's execution, Ralph said "I'm all for it"

He's just an easy target that's all it is, if he made 4 mill a year you would hear nothing about it.

This is what I’m kind of talking about though. The second you say Skinner shares a majority of the blame in his performance this year, you get all the excuses. (Not directed street you)

Skinner has been bad this year. He needs to be better, he needs to go out a show the coach that he deserves top time.

I don’t know if it’s mental or physical. If he’s playing hurt maybe he needs to sit a game or two to let him rest.

Yes because he’s playing terribly. He’s not providing anything.

But he doesn’t, he makes 9, and is signed for 7 more years.

He’s a part of the problem currently, and ignoring it is to me asinine.

I agree

Risto, 8 shot blocks and I think hits. I'm not sure how analytics will read that. If the shots got through, maybe goals, maybe not? Maybe the forwards up front shouldn't have allowed entry so easy to set up for shots? Maybe guys on the wings should have covered the point? Analytics have holes too.

- GilPerreault11

They read it as 8 times the opponent had the puck and figured they were in a good enough position to try to get it on net.

They got obliterated with him on the ice.

Big guy. Makes big looking plays. Consistently negative possession stats even when compared to the other guys on the Sabres.

He's not the guy they hoped he would be. More Phaneuf than you'd like.

Nobody is ignoring it so stop complaining about it, he's having a bad year and that's it. If it wasn't 9 mill a year it wouldn't be an issue , he makes 9 mill a year and isn't scoring, people said the same crap about Ryan Miller, he's not playing like a 6 mill a year goalie.

If he made $4 million per year he still wouldn't be living up to his contract and they wouldn't waste their time trying to get him back on track. He'd be gone.
