We're cheering they kick the fck out of each other in regulation

All these divisional games should be played like playoffs! 4 point games! We should expect a physical emotional game.

Yup! Which may be better for us going into the playoffs (hopefully we make it) fighting for every inch we can get compared to last year which not only burnt us but it fcked Tampa too.

I like these two new guys we got, Forbort maybe the rugged big D we need in that bottom pairing & I think Gustafsson potentially can replace Brodie. In fact both of them should cost less than what Brodie is going to want by himself. Sounds like Hamonic probably wont be back for the rest of the year & it doesnt look like Valamaki wont be ready until April either & then we have to really wonder if he plays at all. Silver lining in that is I believe he'll be exempt from that expansion draft. I may be wrong on that mind you.

I hope Reaves beats the pi$$ out anyone wearing an Oiler uniform

Not coasting in is a definite plus. Holding their own destiny could be just what they need. There’s gotta be a whole butch of soul searching going on after the tremendous seasons some of the boys had last year. Got 18 games left gonna need 12 wins to get in maybe 11 depending on what the rest of the pack does. Regardless they win 11 or 12 of the next 18, then I like they’re chances in the post season.
Really, really want to meet Edmonton in the 1st round. If not them than the Canucks, love the rivalry with both these clubs.

Man, last night gave me hope. We saw how they can play if they want. But they normally follow up a decent showing with a stinker. Would love to see them string together some decent wins with a couple decent loses.

This is exactly what I've been saying. This team fighting tooth and nail to get in might be exactly what they need to go on a run in the playoffs. The talent from last year's team is still on the roster. The difference is, this time they have to fight for it. That could be what makes the difference.

I like both of the guys we picked up and they both looked good last night. Tre did a great job shoring up what he needed to, but that also signals to the guys on the roster that he believes in them.

Only time will tell what happens, but I think this could be huge for us.

Well it’s Nashville tomorrow if they can’t get pumped for that then we’ll all be jumping off the band wagon again. 4 pt game, gotta want that one.

A Forbort-Gustaffson pairing is a recipe for disaster, especially against a Boston team, playing at home, coming off their most embarrassing loss in years. I don't see why anyone thinks Forbort is an upgrade on Stone. Maybe he's meaner, but he has all the same deficiencies as Stone does without the benefit, even though it's pretty much meaningless, of Stone's shot.

Gustaffson should get the shot to take Giordano's place on the first PP to try and reduce some of the minutes Giordano has to play.

He is kinda like those little dogs that try to hump everyone's leg......you can keep kicking them....but they just keep coming back.

I think its genetic. I don't think he can help himself.

I know that the Oilers are playing their second game of a back to back but, I’m pretty sure it evens out as they got extra energy from the TDL and know the importance of this game...
With all that said, holy crap Vegas is really taking it to them here in the second period and I’m not gonna lie, as much confidence I have in our crew Vegas is looking really scary🙈
Ive always loved Stone and been a big fan and yet the more I watch him the more I like him even...
I really hope Valimaki becomes the stud that we all hope he’ll be because as most of you know we could of gotten Stone at the cost of Vali...
Anyways hope ya all been enjoying your night...
