They were dominated the last two periods and were trying to survive, the frustrating part is they had a power play and did nothing - Upstate_isles
Unfortunately that's been the story all season.

They were structured enough in their own zone, I thought, but they tried to sit on a one-goal lead for two periods against one of the best teams in the league. Probably not the best strategy. The point's nice, but they gotta rattle off a few wins so they can catch the teams in front of them and put the ones behind them out of mind. Those extra two points from the last two games would have had them tied for home ice. |

We also scored a PP goal and they looked pretty good on that one but yeah I agree. |

Itโs about as right as it can be in this division. They have to turn a corner here and start a streak with some consecutive wins. They have an opportunity to pull ahead. |

They got 1 last night but that's where you need ot the most up 1 goal late. They were dominated last 2 periods, 1 shot in 2and period and 2 more halfway through the third beau cant catch a pass and that's two giveaways in the last two ot that have lead to goals |

This type of effort will not get it done. They need the Ranger game effort. Lou brought in Greene and Pageau so it's time for the rest of the team to do their part. |

Sounds as if the #Isles are officially done with Ho-Sang. Still their property but now playing for STL's affiliate.

Never understood how that works. If he's Islander property, then who pays his salary? If it's the Isles, why pay his salary to play for an AHL team other than Bridgeport? Are they hoping to generate interest, so that St. Louis trades for him? |

Yeah I have no idea. I know that's, at least, similar to what the Blues did with Binnington a few years back. He was the Providence Bruins goaltender but was still Blues property. |

Hmmm..... interesting. I'm curious to see whether another team/coaching staff can get through to him. Unlikely, but could be fun to find out. |

I'd put my money on him playing somewhere in Europe next year. Probably not the KHL or the SHL because you might actually get checked there. I'm going to go out on a limb and say he's going to go play in Switzerland.
Good riddance. |

Leddy can be so frustrating as a player. He has no feel for this game sometimes. - ses111

I love Beau.. but he has to be stronger on the puck. For all his effort and speed he coughed up the puck twice in that OT .. once ended up in the back of our net. He did the same on a lazy stick check in OT of Ranger's game. ... To be that close to walking into the Stanley cup champs building without Pelech, Greene, Casey, etc. and almost walk out with 2 points is beyond frustrating.
Eberle is on fire but he could easily have had another 3 goals in last 2 games. Missed some golden opportunities last night to put it away and in the first 10 mins of Rags game. |

It would appear this is the beginning of granting Ho Sang's trade request. He came back to be a good soldier for a while and earn his time elsewhere. No takers at the trade deadline made this the last option. We can close the book on JHS now |

I think this is an audition for the Rampage and chance to stick with them for next year. He'll give another franchise a shot before bolting, I'd bet |

They just donโt want him around anybody he must be that toxic ๐๐ that they are willing to pay him to play for another affiliate |

as bad as our minor league team has been at developing young players over the years maybe we should have been loaning all of our players out to various teams |

I'm sure he'd like to give another franchise a shot, but I'm not so sure anyone in the NHL is going to bother wasting one of their 50 contracts on him. Unless he was just being a dildo to force his way out of the Islanders org and is suddenly going to become coachable and a normal human being....I can't imagine any GM or AHL coach is dying to put up with him. |

Some of the posters on twitter were saying Ho-Sang was dogging it last game in BP and was benched for the 3rd period. Didn't give any effort on stopping a guy while on the PP which led to a SHG |
