Watch the game - (frank) the bullpoop.
Anybody who didn’t enjoy that game (not speaking about you, 67) doesn’t like hockey.
St. Louis is a legitimate Cup contender - Chicago is a legitimate top-5 pick contender. - StLBravesFan
No.
I like hockey, I hate losing to the Blues...ergo I didn’t enjoy the game. It ruined my evening quite frankly. |

It was a great game .You have to respect the Blues ,their the champs ,their getting on a roll .HAWKS played them hard ,could not get a bounce there in the 3rd .Growing pains for the kids .
It hard to lose in ST.L ,but it all about the big picture - oldduffman
No, I don’t.
I will never respect anything about the Blues.

Yes. No class and stupid chanting Crawford's name when their own guy lets in 5. - 67hawks
Still not as idiotic as Nashville fans, they are the fools who chant the goalies nameeven if he has 35 saves in a 1-0 game. Total idiots. |

Agreed, our forward group will be tough next year, especially with another top ten pick. Hawks will not win many games with 4K, Seeler, and Boqvist playing in a game, not a knock on Boqvist, but he needs more defensive talent in the group for him to add value. - Angotti
Boqvist was okay. Murph had a tough game. Maatta and the other two were Dogpoop. |

Did I ever mention going to school in Misery....er, Missouri?
Them winning the cup last year was quite possibly the single worst moment of my sports life. |

How do you give up 4 goals in the 3rd period? - NamedSources
there was nothing enjoyable about this game...unless you enjoy turnovers, lousy defense...well then you have really enjoyed the season...
1. turn it over at the ozone blueline off the rush
2. throw it to nowhere to the middle of the ice from the corner
3. can't clear the puck on a pk
4. can't get a rebound after goalie has made two saves
5. and how about two hawks going nowhere and leaving the weakside wide open for the blues 2nd goal..
now that's entertainment..forget the 5 goals they got..first time all year they score 3 on the pp and find away to lose...
wow imagine what will happen when subban plays...that will be a 10 bell ringer entertainment...

Tampa is next and after that win streak they have now lost five in a row, they will not be a happy bunch. - Angotti
make subban the sacrificial lamb...hawks have no chance vs that team...be skated out of the building by the end of the first..

The opponents have figured out how to win against the Hawks.relentless back pressure and the Hawks will cough up the puck and have their best defenseman shadow Kane so he has very little wiggle room to start a rush or make breakaway passes. If the Hawks had just one more player who could start a rush into the opponents blue line who had the tools to be a threat in scoring , Kane wouldn't be covered like a blanket. No wonder Kane looks so frustrated. He has to many line mates that are IceHog caliber. However, I do want to give Kudos to the Hawks tonight for their great effort on the ice. We just don't have " the horses" to win consistently. |

This Gus guy who is a UFA this summer led all Calgary defencemen tonight in ice time. Bowman should give his agent a call when free agency starts. |

This was definitely not Murphy’s best game, not very good tonight, but he’s been solid this year, he’s the least of our problems. For 20/21 we need a healthy De Haan, plus Keith, Murphy, Boqvist, after that we need two solid defensemen. I’m not sure Seabrook will be back, three surgeries and he’ll be 35 in April. If Mitchell is our third RD, then we will need a solid LD with size that can skate. |

Miracles happen every day, I guess. I sure hope there's some kind of plan B not named 4K or Seeler for next year... de Haan's games played the last three seasons (including this year): 33, 74 and 29 this year, only 136 of a possible 246. |

No defense the entire year. Now, shell-shocked goaltending. (Though Crow gave it his best shot). Thanks, Stan. You're THE MAN!!! |

One of my concerns about canning Stan is the non-hockey marketing guy who would pick his replacement. - mohel
I'm a Stan guy but that logic is kind of like staying with a bad doctor because you're not sure who a good one is? |

Ask Lehner his last game against the Rangers? Never mind that was 5 goals it doesn't answer the question. |

Players play. These guys have been pros for years - they should know how to protect the goalie without coaching. - StLBravesFan
Yes! This blaming the coach for SA players has gone too far. Everyone who was hoping for rebuilding, this year is toast. |

Gilbert needs to start playing well and one of his biggest problems is coverage. Become good in knowing and doing it well in the AHL then he deserves another NHL trial
I have been pineing for Tuuola and he is an improved player this season; however I am wondering if his improvement continues since earlier in this season
He can provide some iof each element but basicly he is or was more inclined to be a puck moving offensive dman who covers well and can be mean. AEL_FOX could provide an update whether Tuuola has continued to improve this season. I have a hunch he is a surprise effective NHL third pair one day. - jhawk59
Tuulola has stagnated since Thanksgiving or so. He started the season showing much improvement from last year but lately he's either not noticeable in a "not making an impact" way or he's often on the wrong side of or a step behind proper coverage.
He still has time to continue growing but there are just too many other D prospects ahead of him to make him a worthwhile call up the rest of this season and next.
Not counting Mitchell, Carlsson and Gilbert have the inside track to make the team next season. Beaudin and Krys still have a ways to go but could see them getting cups of coffee around this time next season. |

19 regulation wins in 63 games - bogiedoc
If I’ve counted right, 24 one goal losses (including ENGs) out of 36 total losses.
Goalies have kept them in games - just not enough to overcome offensive deficiencies and defensive breakdowns. |

and 10 1 goal wins...as we all know this is a 1 goal wins league...and that win to loss ratio is what separates the good vs the bad. Flip just 5 of those games and you have a gain of 8-10 points... |
