Only in collitons world would Carpenter lead this forward group in ice time
Let alone top 3...or 6. Or even top 9
But no. Lead the team. And his 2 3rd period turnovers are the direct result of 2 goals
But Colliton will tell everyone after the game he needs more from the players... |

How do you give up 4 goals in the 3rd period? |

You turn the puck over a lot. |

I've asking the board who might fit that description for awhile. Best answer that fits your criteria might be Hextall. What about him? Anyone else fit? - mohel
I was thinking about him earlier when you asked the question. I would not hate Hextall as GM and sometimes a fresh set of eyes can make a big difference. |

Were Dach and Kubalik out there at the end? *sigh*
Kubalik was for the final 30. No Dach, tho. One guy who can win a board battle. Makes sense. |

Great game.
Hawks didn’t give up - kept coming back, got leads - just couldn’t keep them.
Blues have scored 8 goals against Crawford in their last two third periods. |

Strong goaltending weak D. Kane rushed off ice, he’s had enough. |

Tampa is next and after that win streak they have now lost five in a row, they will not be a happy bunch. |

No loss to the Blues is ever a great game.

I like Carpenter for the fourth line, need either Dach or Strome to center Kane and Saad. |

Didn't see them. I know a lot of people female dog about the Hawks not having any forward depth in the system but Dach looks like he could be a beast with some seasoning and there aren't many teams in the division that have one of those in the making. |

Yes. No class and stupid chanting Crawford's name when their own guy lets in 5. |

When this guy adds some meat to his frame he will be formidable. |

Watch the game - (frank) the bullpoop.
Anybody who didn’t enjoy that game (not speaking about you, 67) doesn’t like hockey.
St. Louis is a legitimate Cup contender - Chicago is a legitimate top-5 pick contender. |

That is what would happen if the Hawks had a qualified Head Coach |

Agreed, our forward group will be tough next year, especially with another top ten pick. Hawks will not win many games with 4K, Seeler, and Boqvist playing in a game, not a knock on Boqvist, but he needs more defensive talent in the group for him to add value. |

It was a great game .You have to respect the Blues ,their the champs ,their getting on a roll .HAWKS played them hard ,could not get a bounce there in the 3rd .Growing pains for the kids .
It hard to lose in ST.L ,but it all about the big picture |

absolutely brutal! I feel bad for the players as the message sent from Stan was this year we will be home from the playoffs and the future doesn't look much better! Really that's the best he could get for a goalie of that caliber! |
