Oh, and Karine? I know we're an ornery and sometimes easily distracted bunch, but we all really do appreciate the work you do here. You're awesome, don't change a damn thing. |

I think she should tell Waterboy that he's gonna respect her whether he likes it or not. |

He's just a troll. Don't know why everyone pays so much attention to him. |

Because, just like Bobby Boucher, that boy is a bit...special, and we're above making fun of the handicapped. Except Peanut. With him it's just too much FUN. |

Hains: Plenty of Excuses
Not so long ago, there was a huge sign in the Habs locker room that read "No Excuses"...Good thing it was removed because the GM's post trade deadline presser was an impressive collection of excuses. - Karine Hains
I think where beregevin is torn the most is over trading assets for futures (top prospects and 1st round picks) and keeping price, weber and to a lesser extent Gallagher on board as his leadership group. if bergevin was to trade petry and tartar for top prospects, guaranteed price and weber are done leading this perpetual mess and want out. so patching holes with bottom 6 forwards and depth dmen is how he has chosen to keep his leaders on board.
bergevin can't do what is right because he is always conflicted between the old vision that hasn't worked and a new one. that's why every season you can put another quarter in the slot and the same old, same old excuses keeps rolling out of bergevin's mouth. |

You and I have disagreed on many things, rob, but that's a quality post. You're quite intelligent when you're not just crapping on everything. Well said. |

Thompson, when asked about Jake Evans, said he feels he should be in the NHL right now and that he shouldn’t necessarily be seen as strictly a fourth line option moving forward. Was really impressed with him in training camp and during his short stint in Montreal.
