How much do you have to give, to jump from 7th to 1st?

7th overall + two 2nd rounders?

7th overall + Max Domi?

7th overall + Max Domi + a 2nd?

How many times is a local player getting drafted 1st overall, while the draft is in Montreal? The timing is ridiculous!

These are all options Bergevin should explore. I'm just unsure of what it would take.

it depends on the first overall pick that year. for Aaron Ekblad or Nail Yakupov? no. but for a guy who is seen as a potential generational talent? i believe so yes.

there are lots of Max Domis in the league. you don't sacrifice a #1 overall to get him on your team.
