trading Barrie would have been perfect.. and while likely not to have brought a large return - would have allowed Dubas to signal that a) the trade was a failure - but he was salvaging some value out of it b) it wouldn't really have removed a player from the roster that was having much impact - because Barrie doesn't


so - yes a large number of things have gone wrong - but do you sit on your hands and do nothing, recoup no assets... or just continue to bleed?

optically, this looks bad on Dubas. Sure he can try and spin the 'didn't want to do anything bad angle'... but there's no opportunity to correct mistakes either.
