Not many trade chips available other than Barrie, and he has been a steaming pile so far this seasson. Trading Kapanen makes no sense, one of the few players showing effort and fight in the two debacles this week. Trading Barrie for picks only at this point would be fine by me.

I don’t disagree with any of this but I also wouldn’t be against a big trade to shake things up... move someone like Nylander, does anyone actually think the leafs’ offence can’t handle losing him?
