You pretty much traded Maatta, a top 4 dman, for nothing.

I know Rutherford bails on loser trades quickly... but bailng on Kahun already makes 0 sense.

Both Kahun and Sheary are left shots that can play either side. There’s no drop off in flexibility from Sheary to Kahun.

Yeah the only possible explanation for this is that Kahun is a problem in the locker room. Nothing else adds up. His over all game is better, he’s cost controlled. What the hell happened here?

He has played better as a Center that a wing.

He has a stretch where you really notice his speed, and he plays decent.

Then he has a stretch where you notice him for all the wrong reasons.

Cant believe you’re gonna get me to defend Sheary after an objectively terrible trade but here we are. No, Sheary flubbing shots is no where near on par with Johnson anchoring down the entirety of play when he’s on the ice. Sheary actually contributed positively to hockey plays even with his limitations.
