Well the rumor was that his camp was looking for around 5x5. I can live with that, but that tells you that someone is going bye-bye this offseason then.
- eichiefs9

I’m totally cool with that number. I’m thinking 5.5 for seven maybe(hopefully not) eight years. I think that’s fair. That solidifies our four centers after Barzal is signed. Perfect 👌

Nope. They cannot afford to add a #1. It's Bailey.

I wonder if they trade zeeker. He’s one of my favorite players but his contract will be expiring soon and he can potentially bring back some nice assets. If not him then Bailey is likely gone.

Komarov’s salary would instantly make it viable. With that said I don’t know how Lou would make that happen.

Those players, aside from maybe Komarov, don't clear even close to enough cap space. Noosechuckle is a UFA. Johnston and Dal Colle don't even clear a collective $2M in cap space

How many years does Casey have left? He should be re signed but could demand a large salary that we may not be able to afford. But I think we all can agree we prefer Bailey.

Two more years or one not sure and at that time Casey might not have much left with the way he plays. I would hope by then the Isles have a cheaper option.

One. Highly likely he's not re-signed if they do actually extend Pageau.

That’s why I think he may be gone in a trade, possibly along with Bailey. Of course provided they extend Pageau

At this point I wouldn't rule out Leddy either. They could sign Greene to a one year deal and have Dobson shuttle between the Island and Bridgeport as needed. Leddy is easily worth a 1st+, so that would recoup some future assets lost in the JGP trade.

Yep! Bailey or Leddy would be prime targets. Would not mind another year with Greene at all.

that's pretty hot...in a hetero way.
I'm guessing the guitarist....

I've seen them 5 times. They never disappoint. Saw them in November in Ottawa.
Fabulous show.
