i'm a troll because I don't buy into click bait headlines, and instead listen to what people say???

by all means, if you want to think that Hughes is in the same class of prospect as Lafrenier.....go for it.

One, we do not know how Laf is gong to in the NHL...no one does so to put Laf in the category of generational player is retarded and premature, Two i never put Hughes in the same category as McDavid, Hall, or Mathews i said that is people where saying and writing Three yes you are being a troll by putting words in my mouth and calling everything that disagrees with you click bait when MULTIPLE articles from different sources were saying the same thing.

And they say the same thing about every potential #1 every dam year...

The Dahlin comparison to Ek I heard..and there is potential there.

Then again, every highly touted Swedish defensive prospect gets comparisons to either lidstrom or Karlsson. Remember Larsson? Compared to lidstrom (ya, believe it)

I never remember anyone comparing Hughes to mcdavid..but if you research further they also say he could be like toews, Kane, datsyuk!???? Do people actually watch hockey? He’s been compared to like 11 different players, all with different styles.

Ya, I know that...

But there are some bold comparisons here that sometimes don’t match the players playing style.

Hughes primary ability is his elite passing.

Lol again I’m convinced there’s an American bias here.

I forgot which scout said this about Nugent Hopkins...but that he had the best vision since Gretzky.

Lol all I could say is read through the bs :p

Not at all

For the Sens that term is too long and even the cost is too high for a guy who won’t help us compete immediately.

Pageau is scoring at an unrealistic rate. His play this year is not an indication of his norm.

I do feel though he’ll be a great fit for the Islanders..he’s a Trotz player who could play anywhere up and down the line, pk, pp.

The term will hurt the islanders more than the cost

Bullet dodged with Pageau.

to everyone believing he would stay for a cheaper, shorter deal to help with a rebuild.

Last "fan fav" piece moved. Time to totally focus on the rebuild.

Ennis to Oil.

I was referring to the previous group of fan favs that the team had success with. Stone, Pag, Karlsson, etc.

Tkachuk will be part of the new core - fan favs.

Not bad for Ennis I guess. Pick up in the off-season, wasn’t gonna bring him back.

Although he’s had a better season then Names..Holland is winning this deadline

Ottawa can just call up players.

People are putting too much emphasis on Belleville’s run, they have no indication of the Sens success down the road.

They also have ample cap room to take on contracts at the draft, or in the offseason.

We are in a very good position

why?

it's an asset for a player who wasn't back next year. there is literally zero reason for a rebuilding team to lose assets for nothing to free agency. the only acceptable reason is if nobody offered anything for the player (ie. Craig Anderson, Ron Hainsey)
