...now what I'm worried about with so many picks in a deep draft is bundling to move up. Pierre has a rough history with bundling (see Brown, Logan). Don't do it Pierre - I'd rather you select all the Shane Pintos you like than bundle high picks. |

Great deal for Pag. Felt they needed to max his value all year.
Dorion will need to pick well with these picks to make it an actual win, but great haul. Never made sense to sign Pag.
I think Ennis can still be moved and would like to see Andy moved to a contender. |

Wow... This takes a lot of sting out of the Demelo debacle. Ya got fleeced Lou - FLEECED. I didn't think Dorion had it in him, but kudos PD. That's an amazing return. - Bartacus
Philadelphia offered a good prospect (Frost) and a 2nd. There were competing offers

trade all 3 1st's to move up and get Lafreniere (assuming they don't win the lottery)............i'd do that all day |

Great return for Pageau.
Pinto and White are both great candidates to fill the third line center position. |

It will be dependant on the draft lottery results I think. I don't think bundling picks is a bad plan. Sens have 14 picks or something for 2020 now. Bundling to move up here and there is not a terrible plan if there is a guy that stands out.
If the lottery does not go the Sens way, I think Dorion may get creative to move up. |

Would you trade the Brady Tkachuk and Quinn Hughes picks for Dahlin?
While Lafreniere is safely projectible as a high end first line player, the third and fifth overall picks should yield 2 high end first line players. The top 10 players in this draft look very good. |

Ottawa has 3 1st round picks and 4 2nds.
so, do they package some picks to move up on trade day.
do they offer a 2nd for Puljarrvi.
Dorion hit a home run - spatso
Offer the 2nd. Great call! Preferably Carolina's 2nd. |

So at this rate, are we going to need a zamboni driver to ice a team?
Seriously though, AHL playoff aspirations hinge on who else leaves holes on the big club. |

That Karlsson deal is a winner in the end with San Jose returning a top ten pick minimum that could even be a lottery winner. Pageau deal, another winner. Picking Tkachook, another good move. Dorion is making some solid deals despite the criticisms. The Sens are fun to watch. It's good entertainment every night.
Looking forward to this team taking a step forward next season and being ready to contend in a couple of seasons. They are rebuilding the right way. |

A+ return Pageau. I didnt think he would fetch that. Good for Dorion. And if Pageau is the playoff guy, should do well for the Isles,a steep price to pay for that gamble. So i must assume The Isles must be planning on signing him. |

Nice work stockpiling picks. The Namestnikov deal was crap, but good haul for Pageau. The Sens have a hard time attracting free agents, so they should consider moving some of those picks. I’ll bet FLA would listen if Dorion offered two of those firsts (keep their own, obviously) for Ekblad

Talk this morning on TSN was that Pageau wanted to sign in the 5-6 year, $5M+ range with the Sens. No brainer to walk away from that and take this. - Michael_Stuart
For this return...easy move. |

that's an insanely good return for, what amounts to, a 3rd line center who's a UFA......and none of the conditions or dependant on him re-signing, which is miraculous - sensarmy_11
Dorion with a clear win here, makes up for a few questionable ones.
Now just get a new owner and get moving. |

Dorion should just keep all the 1st round picks if he has even 1 of the top 5. No bundling. |

I agree with the 1st rounders. But I don't see the harm throwing in some depth picks if they want to move up in any round though. Don't think 2 first rounders for 1 first rounder slightly higher is the best course of action. |

Not too many moves up the draft work out in terms of first rounders. Calvin de haan, Nathan Horton...eh |

Ottawa now owns more than 10% of the picks in the top 2 Rounds this year.......INSANE. |

Really?? A couple of lottery tickets for a young, top pair guy who’s locked up for a few more years. Man, I’d jump at that if I were Dorion
