Anything around 2m would be a good signing. Sabres need toughness and grit. He brings it.

Money was going away regardless at the end of the year. Ownership doesn't care about that as long as we are under.

i imagine, given CBJ's position in the standings, that this was an attempted hockey trade. They'll probably revisit in the off season or end up finding an alternative

Yea, but if we had to push rookie bonuses to next year, that would have eaten into our cap next year. So clearing money now helps a little next year I think.

From what I've read online... his passing ability and game in transition is some of his best assets. He is a good body size guy that was only really playing Wing because of how well down the middle Pitt is. His shot is above average. He is around 50% on the dot but is viewed as an area that he will still improve.

No. Kahun is a nature center. Moved to wing last year when Chicago acquired Strome.

When he was moved to Pittsburgh this year, there was no room at center.
