You're saying what the market has been since midseason. He should get the same deal as Skjei did, but with Petterson's deal and a higher cap, he'll probably get closer to 6x6. No news there.

If Carolina has both picks, can't the trade stipulate that the Rangers get the lower of the first round picks? If I were Carolina, that's how I'd do it.
