Just wait, now Deangelo is going to lose his mind and want $9M or something
- Maskdman3

And the Rangers kind of played hardball with him this summer on the contract, so that might be a difficult negotiation, even though he's an RFA.

I'm starting to come around on that. He is kind of coming into his own too.
- JRR1285

I mean he has 27 pts, that’s nothing to sneeze at for him. With all the other stuff he does, that’s very good production

That's true. The one thing that can help with RFA's is that there are comparables you can anchor to and ultimately, the player wants to get paid. He could pull a Trouba though and just hold out, but the fact that they have Nils waiting makes me think that's not going to happen.

Vin and I have been running a meth ring together. Just not much time between running a inter-state crime syndicate and youth soccer to be around much.

Lemieux wont win championships but he's the kind of player you want on a championship team. Fast too, even moreso. They both wont make much $$ so keep them
- picklerick

The problem with Fast is that I just feel on this team when we contend he is a 4th line player. I guess it isn't a given that Kravstov ever becomes anything, and Gaut is still pretty raw, but I'm not sure how you can justify giving what Fast will command on the market if at even strength he's on your 4th line in a cap league. He's really good at what he does, but I'd just rather have the cap space to lock up our core pieces

Lemeuix stays here not only because he's a LW where we aren't quite as stacked yet, but he won't command near the salary. He's not as good a player as Fast per se, but in a cap driven league, he's probably a better value if that makes sense. Even then, finding a 3 LW might be a priority the team needs to address at some point in time. I'm not sure on a contending team if 48 is good enough for that role.

If he signed a 3 year 2.5 per, I think I could get on board with keeping Fast. If we’re able to keep our top 2 lines intact and the 3rd line can start producing we’ll be a very difficult team to match up against.

I'm guessing ADA gets about 3-4million. He's an RFA and doesn't have a ton of leverage, but I hope we learned from our mistake last summer. We gotta keep this guy.

Yeah, I mean, who really goes to every damn city in the Midwest and beyond to watch a 13 year old girl play soccer?

So if Skjei goes to Carolina and shines do we believe Ruff was the source of his issues all along?

He makes $1.85M. How are we going to be burdened by keeping him around? Yes, he will be due a raise this summer, but not even as much as the cap will rise.

Do they still do the orange wedges? I remember the first year I played soccer that was a big thing. Which parent is bringing the oranges

I think we sort of figured that already. Pionk looking playable as a top pair RD in Winnipeg is only confirming that view.

I know it’s early but they have the goods to do it...

...maybe they finally trade up into a top 3 pick. Trade Kravtsov and these two picks they have...to LA for example. Quinton byfield possible
