I know, but that tweet looks so good I think I might put it on every page - mdw7413
That is true
No player being moved has gotten us all on the same page as with this one. Not one of us would be pissed if they traded Skjei haha |

Sup Pete!
I was saying before either nino or Dzingel and I’d still do it - Slimtj100
Hey TJ.
Nino has too much term left and makes a good chunk of changes. I am afraid he would be too hard to change.
Dzingel is interesting, because only one year left after this year at a more reasonable amount. Not sure how the Canes feel about Dzingel though.

You know Skjei will go back to his rookie year once he leaves. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the Norris next year |

Where you seeing that?
Honestly, it is really that surprising, because if he stays he could be the third string goalie (or at best a backup). I am assuming the guy has some pride, and doesn't want to go out playing 20 games next year.

Oh he will become Drew Doughty once he is traded...but he won't ever be that here so might as well let him solve our short term cap problem and get us another 1st rd pick in the process |

Skjei was your boy, and he looked like a fixture after his rookie year. What happened? |

He spoke to the media after practice today. Says he is fully committed for the rest of this year but will have to reassess and sit down and talk to management in the summer |

Who knows? Honestly, he was never really my boy as a pro. I just thought he was a real good damn value where the Rangers drafted him and was all for that pick. And after his rookie year, I was pretty sure I was right about that one. I think he has ability. He's just lost right now, and hasn't been good in a long time.

He should go to a place he can win and be a part of it. I root for the sweater and not the players for the most part, so I'm good with them trading him or buying him out to create some cap space. But I do think he deserves a shot at the Cup

According to Brett Crygalis "Lundqvist was very open about needing to have a conversation with management after the season: "If there comes a day when they feel like I'm not a good solution, let's talk about it and let's be open about it." |

Yeah, I can't figure it out. He has the size, speed and hands, but its like they all work against him now |

His offense is fine imo. He’s D is as bad as Poti or Hamrlik tho. I still think they should try him at forward (ala Smith). I know it’s kinda cookoo to do that, but I’ll try any thing with him right now lol |

That ought to be a pretty short conversation.
Management: Hank, we don't feel like you are a good solution anymore.
Hank: Really?
Management: Yup, really.
