Just heard on TSN Athanasiou is on the block. Speculation is the asking price is a second round pick or third plus prospect or two. I'd love to see him on the Hawks. Perfect depth piece with upside and fast as hell. Just what they need more of. Toews/Dach/Athanasiou up the middle would be pretty nice.

Athanasiou would be a nice pick up but I don't think the Hawks will deal future assets for him.

One guy that I would like to see the Hawks to add as that younger, NHL-ready player would be Tyson Jost.

He is on the block and has been compared to Toews since his draft year.

If the Hawks make a deal with COL, I would like to see him included in a package.

It's the coronavirus, blame China for hiding it then not being transparent once it became known. Now today's sell off is based on Italy coming out with saying they have cases of the virus.

All these companies opted for cheap labor and high profits at the expense certainty. Bring those supply chains back to the US and lots of problems get resolved.

This is why for the past three months I've stated that Saad and just about everyone else should be at least discussed, because teams this time of year go crazy and overpay to try and give their team a boost for the Playoff push.

I doubt Lou makes that trade unless there is a new contract for Pageau already agreed to.

Pageau is a better player than most give him credit for. Not great but pretty damn good.

Down 3% on a market that is up 56% in the last 4 years. Chump change. Could be (and may get) much worse. But in the grand scheme of things still going to be ok.

Another thought, AHL playoff rosters get locked today too I believe. So I’d expect Carlsson probably gets sent back down on paper anyhow. I imagine the Hurricanes will have to make some paper moves.
