Outstanding work by Bowman. he turned two rental guys on a team not going to the playoffs (most likely) into several future pieces, as well as a current goalie. He also did this without "selling", so the team can still "go for it" for what that's worth.

The return from Vegas is actually pretty outstanding and it sounds like Gus is bringing us two conditional picks. So Stan brought in 2 players (prospect, Subban) and 3 picks for two rental players. Not sure there is a single avenue to complaining about his work today.

Because you don't understand the value on goalies. They generally don't return much values. A 2nd and a prospect is an average returns for a goalie.

Fair assessment, Wolfie. I assume the return was the best out there, and I'm happy he traded the UFA's. That said, I was hoping for more trades to speed up the process. Maatta and maybe Saad. Maybe he didn't have permission or didn't like the return. Those guys can be traded in the summer.

Krebs and Glass are pretty good prospects. Doubt they are in the deal but they have prospects.
