I'm told the Blackhawks have been underwhelmed by the offers they've received for Lehner so far. Things change. It's a chess match, but that's the latest I have.

Bowman's goalie strategy back fired. He should've anticipated the Lehner extension would break the bank and sought a mid season trade. He pigeon toed himself.

The hawks won all three 3 cups with a goalie tandem that was not as skilled as Lehner - Crawford. This team had no business carrying both goalies all year. What a waste of 11million.

Every year I get excited. Every year I see minimal movement from Stan. I understand when your team needs one or two pieces, not making many deals. Anyone watching the Hawks the last couple of years can see they are not a playoff team. Lots of potential pieces that will not be resigned so why not get assets back?

its not that they cant be good players its just pretty clear the mini rebuild is not working. OLI is 3rd line player making 1 mil to much, Shaw and dehan are both probably done with injuries so those trades did not work out.

Cat is probably more of a 30 goal scorer then 40 and he is just really AVG at everything else. Probably below.

Strome, Murphy are both OK players but not fast enough to be difference makers.

2-3 years away from being a good team of younger players and by then kane and teows and keith will have declined a lot more.

Well said Darth. It's very telling IMO that Stans time here in chicago should be coming to a end.

I get no GM wants to lose out but looking at other teams GMs and the moves and returns they received shows Stan needs to fired.

If moves aren't made, I think it speaks volumes about Bowman's tenure with the Hawks moving forward...which then makes me wonder...what are they waiting for to fire him?

Can't be soon enough,especially if they get embarrassed the next three or four games. That would probably force Rockys hand
