This was one of the calmer days for us, I thought? Some dramatics are always how this board rolls, but I think most people understood what the Flyers were trying to do and other teams had different agendas and capabilities

I honestly like what the Flyers did. I think they're sneaky-good and I like their combination of size and hockey sense, skating, more than I have in a really long time

Agreed. They are playing well is there weren’t a lot of options for them to do something big without creating holes. I like the idea of building depth, riding their momentum right now and see what happens.

I agree with what others have said and AV was their best pick so far, followed by Hayes. Love the way the team is playing under AV.

Absolutely no idea. They got San Jose's third (ours that we sent in Braun deal) in the trade so it's not as terrible as first reported but still pretty bad

Here is the tell tale sign. It's all about buy in with a coach. Vigneault has been able to get Voracek to back check and play responsibly defensively.

I like how he did it, too -- honesty about accountability, moving him down in the lineup and allowing him to move back up

You were right earlier in that other coaches/all coaches basically do the same things, but it is nice to know that the Flyers hired someone who, if the players were open to being coached, has shown that he'll help you win games
