Good GMs get players that will only play 20 games with the team for high picks not off season hockey trades that allow the team to develop chemistry and buy into a new coach's systems

Isles got Pageau.... for way too much. Rags kept Kreider, but traded one of their better defenseman and lost their young goalie for weeks because of a car crash. Carolina has not goaltending. No joke. They have none.
