As I said. Maybe for a bigger trade (Tatar or Price) but there’s no way Bergevin was there for Timmins. Theses kind of trade are done by phone.
Bergevin was looking at a player playing theses nights and it’s probably Graves or Zadorov - MONSTERSofMETALZ
He was there scouting, maybe one deal falls through and something else happens... they're having discussions, it may lead to nothing at all, may lead to a big deal in the offseason or it may lead to Nate Thompson for a 4th... the fact that he was there means nothing at all when it comes to the magnitude of a trade or if one even takes place |

I'm russian.
Romanov is coming. - deadpoulet
Are you Russian the way Canadians claim whatever country their family was from 4 generations ago when world cup is on so they can have a flag hang off their car? Canadians and their insecurity about their identity is hilarious to me |

I'm still hoping for a blockbuster with Carolina that nets the Habs the other half of the brothers - obie
Fleury is low on my list as he seems to stagnate but Suzuki the 2nd wouls be great. Pipe dream where Fleury is Bean will have me saying MB can stay |

I can't claim to have seen enough of either to know what I'm talking about, but don't you think if Carolina felt Bean was better he would be in the NHL now, he's a bit younger for sure... and remember, I'm asking, I don't know the answer, who's gonna become the better NHL defenseman? Jake Bean or Haydn Fleury?
And Fleury is having an ok season, finally |

True, my bet is talk were big but it probably won’t lead to anything like you say.
I’m still hoping we hear Price was traded to the AVS 😩 |

I agree with everything you said...I just like Bean better for some reason...haven't seen enough of either or anything, so almost pure ignorance...but I like Bean better |

Bean has better offensive stats in both WHL and AHL.
But I like the way that Haydn is big like is brother. |

I think Fleury is more like his brother, a physical shut down guy... he also plays on a pretty deep core, I'm not gonna check the TOI for their D, but I'd bet he's 4th or lower... Bean has more offense and I think I prefer him as well but the idea of reuniting two sets of brothers is kinda cool, especially considering the age and potential of all 4 |

Yes, and they play the opposite side... could be a real good shut down pair |

So Suzuki (or anybody else who hasn't played in the A this year) has to be sent down by 3 today, even if just for a day, in order to play in the A later this year or playoffs...Suzuki could go down for a day today |

Varone and Barber were obviously the problem. |

Not that far out...not sure I'd want him there anyway but that's the rule apparently |

Say what you want about Alzner but he's taken it all in stride, much better than others in a similar position |

He's a real pro. Looks like a good guy as well...too bad he sucks at hockey. |

Just saying...a lot of other guys take their ball and go home, sulk, etc. Refreshing to see a guy deal with it properly |

He didn't look any worse than other called up players.
Obviously I'd rather not have to rely on him too much but it could be worse. |

Yeah, he's been a real professional through it all.
After he gets bought out, I'm sure a team will give him at least a tryout or a two-way contract. |

Of course, he's not THAT bad. Just nowhere close to the worth of the contract MB gave him... |
