I don't think it would have been difficult for the head coach to agree with his player that it was a bad effort, that should be easy. He went against that and said they worked hard but couldn't execute. So he's either babying the players beyond what they even believe, or he thinks the fans are dumb enough to believe that BS. At least Babs would call out weak efforts.
