Agreed. He's got all the tools. Change of scenery could be only thing he needs. Fair contract too.

100% also nuts rangers have the most regulation wins in the metro and are not in e PO currently. Loser point has to go

Carolina losing both goalies to injury opens up a window of opportunity that Rangers should explore. My first choice is to send them Hank, I just don't see him waiving at ANY point.
My proposal:

To Hurricanes: Georgi

To Rangers: Jack Drury and our own 2020 2nd round pick back

I just keep going back to, NYR will not get back a player who is on same level as Kreider, and it will be a loss of one of the few remaining home grown vets. I don't give a crap about his contract 7 years from now. With cap increases, it wont be an albatross
- rrentz

I'm still torn on what to do but here's my issue - If he keeps up this pace of play, he's worth $7M, but he's literally never played this well prior to this year. So if he signs $7M for 7 years, and next year he scores 23 goals and 22 assists, that contract will look bad in year 1, let alone year 7. There's a lot of factors at play (Panarin taking pressure off, chemistry with Mika, etc) that say that he may maintain this, but to me the risk isn't year 7, it's years 1-4.

you sound like your panicking on your 1/2 ass theories of cap issues inyears ...
cmon ,jump on the big blue train to the P O's ..no ones gettig off palyers included ,itstime you swallow your words (since you swallow ... ) and just say win streaks to Po's dont happen often ,magical is what we watch for ... this could be special , after the stand pat & maybe ADD not subtract ( se 4th liner or top 6 winger ) to add depth needed for a run at the prize ... That was something with the Zamboni driver dressing and getting into action as Carolina"s emergency keeper.

No denying it anymore, Rangers are for real and it all right now is coming from the goalie down, the kid is thriving and looks so confidant in net, you really feel like he's just not gonna lose. If the Sharks beat the Isles today in regulation and we do the same to them Tuesday its almost a dead heat in points and all those regulation wins we have is awesome. LET'S DO THIS!

21 games left, need to go 15-6 to hit 100 PTS which I think *may* get you into the playoffs. 16-4 to be safe.

He’s re-signing. 6x6.5, with no trade. I think that’s reasonable for all involved.

He prob wants 7 for 7 but will work with them as long as gets the no trade

His agent likely is pushing hard for the 7 but if it can get done at what you said above and giving him the no trade I thinks that's good for all sides, DO IT NOW

Better be a limited no trade
