You also have to factor in the team fully buying into AV’s system. It was always known (and reported) that AV’s teams usually start slow, but really pick it up before the halfway mark. This has happened for Every single teams he’s coached in their first year. And you can see it when it comes to particular guys like Jake and JVR. They both were in AV’s and fans doghouses with their play. Since x, they’ve both have been more complete and well-rounded players.

Gotta pick it up in the third here and finish off this game. Not playing their best today.
