Ward is following that idiot peters !! Leave Bennett at Center for fuk sakes !! More than a game or two !!!! So sick of musical lines no wonder no chemistry!! And no way hanifin was offered for hall !! Hall has said he wants to play for his home town team so wait and try sign in off season, hate to say it offer janko and Kylington to take that slug lucic then put Rinaldo in his spot being up Gawain give Yeltsin Kylington spot save money dump a slug then retool in spring
- Hockeyfan4life14

I would have agreed with you on Lucic at the beginning of the season but the guy has been very effective the last 15 games or so. Was disappointed he didn’t drop the mitts against Edmonton but we still have another game against them. Don’t get all the hate on Kylington, he makes mistakes but he’s young and has lots of time to turn that around. Plus he’s fast as sh!t!

Frank Seravelli says the Flames offered New Jersey a package built around Noah Hanifin for Taylor Hall earlier this season and the Devils said no.
- BINGO![/quote

NJ want players on entry level deals ... Bahl will be playing for 817 K next year and Hanifan makes 4.95.
There is not another team in the NHL that would not LOVE Hanifan at 5 x 4.95!

Flames Nation are showing him centring that 3rd line & 4th line centred by Ryan with Janko & Rinaldo. Hope that is the case but yeah WTF.
- Kevin R

Also the importance of chemistry is bigger than anything at this time of year. If something’s working you keep it together until it doesn’t

When Bogo clears waivers I bet the Flames show interest at a number similar to Kovalchuk's deal in Montreal.

No kidding - jesus - Sam has historically proven he's a more productive player on the wing, and he was put in at C to spell Ryan while he was sick... the drama...

Yup, clear depth add, makes 1000% sense, maybe gives the guy a chance to rebuild his value and we can keep Valimaki on IR this year to protect his status come Seattle's draft (if that's how this works, I might just be making poop up)

Not sure but I think you're right. Read on Flames Nation if Vali does not play in the NHL or AHL this year he will be considered a 2nd year pro next year and thus he would be exempt.

What do you mean by historically proven?
I could be wrong but I don’t recall him playing much center for the Flames. The last couple games filling in for Ryan he’s looked like a totally different player. Maybe all he needs is to play the position he was drafted for.
We all want success for him, we all b!tch about him,
I for one would like to see him play center for an extended period before we give up on him and add him as a throw in on a bigger deal.

What do you guys think of picking up Bogosian? He can't be any worse then Stone....

Thanks Todd, but your writings sound like Ejore. Not happy they moved Bennett back to wing. He looks way more comfortable playing center.

@ Hunky Dorey
Man can’t figure you out. You’re al over the map. Beginning of the season you crap all over management for giving Talbot a 2.4 mil contract now you’re defending him and pissing on Rittich.

I hope the Flames do nothing at the trade deadline unless it’s off loading future ufas.

Go Flames go!

- K-man25

Totally agree Bennett is a much better player at center. Ryan is very versatile he can easily play the wing. And as far as any trades nope stand pat. Give this group one more chance. Go out there and prove yourself!

Can't recall exactly when, but he got some longer looks in the past and it has inevitably ended up that he's reverted to wing

No risk move and he probably is better than Stone and Davidson. Not my first choice but better than doing nothing and he'd be cheap.

Tim and Sid mentioned today word is that Hanifins name is out there and that it could be something involving Dumba.

Also lots of rumours Brodie for Barrie straight up.

Seem odd to make that trade unless it’s a way for the flames to free up more cap space and utilize Hanifin to get something bigger ?

- Yeah...Baby

Makes no sense to trade a 23 year old D man signed long term with huge upside!! And that has played very well since Gio went down.

If true maybe time to trade BT!!!

And Barrie for Brodie is like trading an apple for an apple. Maybe one a couple days older. I’d rather keep Brodie. Since he had that health scare he’s been awesome!

The only reason I can see it is because Colorado retained salary on him so I think he’s 2.5 per year.
Makes room for another trade.
