Montreal may HAVE to buy out the end of that HORRIFIC contract ---- bad example.

I guess you're right.
I'm under the gun here at work and really shouldn't even be commenting on here today! So, definitely no time to prepare my arguments!! Strictly off the cuff today.

I just asked that on their thread, plus isn't Varlomov signed for 4 more years?

Per @SFedotoF Ilya Sorokin's rights are gonna be traded to the Blackhawks soon. I'm hearing the opposite. Lou met Sorokin's agent. There're some requirements from Ilya's side, A and B bonuses and Euro clause. 99% chance Sorokin coming to the NHL next year #Isles #Blackhawks

The expectation is that he'll be here next year and probably backing up Varly, at least to start. No guarantees, obviously...but what those in the know are predicting. This was not the first time Eronko reported that either.

I certainly take any news out of Russia with a pretty large grain of salt. But CSKA is the top team in the KHL this year and are the favorites to win the Gagarin Cup...so if they win back-to-back championships I have to imagine he's probably accomplished everything you can accomplish in that league and hopefully he's ready to go.

Although I'm sure CSKA will back a dumptruck of cash right up to his front door.

edit: and right on cue he tweets this:

Remember that there's a real rivalry between Sorokin and Shesterkin. Ilya would come just to compete a big and close friend. I want that bad blood between two newyorkers

If Krieder is not signed by 655pm tonight, there's no way he should play, tomorrow either.

Agreed, imagine he breaks his leg or has really any significant injury tonight or tomorrow? If they are committed to dealing him then sit him out

Gotta think if he was gonna waive they’d want to showcase him though. Unless he’s getting traded to the Canes which would be interesting

He's hardly played lately but he's a proven commodity IF somehow he waves his NMC and has suitors

It’s being reported hank got extra practice in today since he hasn’t played recently. Hank was part of the decision to be a scratch

Well, he’s playing, I think it’s nuts, unless there a deal that just needs a tweak.

That’s what I meant. If they had a deal elsewhere, I doubt he’d be in there
