I could see a DeAngelo, Fast and hopefully Smith gone by Monday
- OLDSCHOOL#6

Do u want DeAngelo traded? Or just think it’s going to happen?

Trading DeAngelo would be a huge mistake. Trading Fast a minor one.
Strome is growing on me more and more, as I was quite skeptical he would ever live up to his draft position, but I think ADA is more important, or at least more of a rare commodity.

Id prefer Tony D over Trouba if I had too. Moving Fast wont be enough to keep the rest of the Rfas, there will have to be more moved.

Nothing other than Kreider has to be decided now. They have all summer to figure out the roster if they resign him. When more teams are looking to upgrade their rosters I think Gorton can get creative and figure it all out. Yes pieces will move but they may not be the ones we think

I am trying to stay neutral. Cause I know the second I get excited then I will see "he got traded" tweet

Its just better not be for some crazy amount and a NMC/NTC. If it in someway affects Tony D leaving I swear on everything holy, I will hate him more than Skjei

I don't think ADA is going unless they get blown away with a trade offer this summer. And if that's the case it may not even be related to Kreider. For some reason Rangers are stacked with RH d men and every other team covet them like crazy

As much as it might solve financial problems, they are not buying out Hank.
Is Pitt going to buy out Crosby, or Montreal buy out Price?

It looks more and more likely. With every trade that happens, popular reaction is "That's great news for the Rangers. Kreider's price should be even higher!"

To which I think, what if everyone just makes there move and there' are no real suitors left. At this point, it's who Colorado and St. Louis? Caps and Isles seem like pipedreams. Who am i missing?

If I was the Rangers, I would lock Tony D up long term at a reasonable price. This way if Lundkvist turns out to be better, they can trade Tony for a haul.

Sources say the Islanders have traded Ilya Sorokin’s rights to Chicago.

Yea I agree. I love having 3 great RH d men in Trouba, Fox and ADA. The problem is we can't pay them all big money haha. Try to get ADA locked down to a Skjei like deal maybe

Remember when we would trade a 1st round pick every year, or hand out a big contract every offseason to a UFA RHD to quarterback the PP? Well we finally found that player, after Yandle, Boyle, Shattenkirk, etc. and now people want to trade him.

Remember Skjei's rookie year, and how quickly he fell off after that? Maybe would should be cautious before naming Fox the Ranger's lord and savior.

I hope Fox continue's on his trajectory, but to trade such a big reason for our team's relative success this year in ADA just because we have 2 other players at his position is asinine. Nils Lundkvist looks great so far, but he is 19 years old and a far cry from a sure thing.

I say sign Tony, even if it's at the expense of Kreider, although preferably we sign both, and in 2 years when Lundkvist proves he's ready, then we make that decision.

Both are still serviceable. At the end of the day this is a business, and in that business Hank has made 60+ million dollars. Hank is my all time favorite Ranger but at this point he’s in the way of possibly affecting our future if he stays(losing a good young player bc of cap issues).

Yup. I don't think Tony is a fluke like Skjei. He had 30 point in 60 games last year getting jerked around

Can't really happen unless CK plays RW. They really need bottom 6 scoring. Top 2 lines can score in bunches but the bottom 6 is Lars and a bunch of JAG's. JAG core is led by Senor Hagelin, el primero manos de piedra!
