What makes you think domi is on the block? - SuperSchennBros
Yeah chances are he isn't on the block per say. But if you come calling with the right package, I think it's a possibility. And the Flyers undoubtedly have the pieces to get top 6 impact guy.
You think Pitt is losing sleep over the price they paid for Zucker (Galchenyuk, 1st, prospect)?!

I look at the return we got for Schenn (2 firsts and a roster player), and feel as if it's our time to dish out those types of assets in return for a mid twenties, impact, top 6 player still on term (Schenn playing 3 years for the blues on the deal he signed with philly). I get those types of deals on usually done in the off season, but if you have the pieces why not get creative with it?
The farm is still loaded with teen spirit, and giving up 2 firsts now to solidify your place among the leagues elite seems fine to me.
- Bryz's Buyout Fund
1) Hell to the No!
2) Schenn got 2 1st because we took a Lehtera cap dump back in the deal. |

I don’t see why Montreal would part with Doni. Are we trading Konecny or Provorov? |

How many games have ghost and hagg played this year and how many points do they each have? I’m curious as to their PP time also.
There’s evidence in numbers but I like the eye test even better. Hagg has even cut down on his nonsense icings - Just5
it is alarming Hagg and Ghost have the same amount of points in the same amount of games, with Ghost having 2 more goals. i don't know if Ghost was playing hurt before leaving the lineup or not but the drop off of his offensive production has been sad. |

And somehow we should keep him in hopes he’ll play himself up again. I’m not saying the deadline is the time to deal Ghost but I do think this offseason is the dumping points |

Don’t think he is was just saying. Instead of duck air would rather send a pick to get domi. Not sure if Montreal would be interested. But they made some weird trades in the past. |

Pittsburgh is also a legit contender with 2 generational superstars and won back-to-back Cups 2 seasons ago. We are a playoff bubble team. Not exactly apples to apples. |

Sure Lehtera was a part of that deal. Cap dump I think is the wrong term here. I think the money had to even out , we gave up 5.15 mill and got back 4.7. Point still being St louis coveted Schenn as an impact piece, and helped bring their team a cup. Flyers in the deal were playing the long game, got 2 studs as a result, and now are in position to leverage/hedge, whatever you want to call it, some picks/assets now to get a substantial win now (and the next couple years) player. |

I can cherry pick trades, too:
1st for Steve Eminger
1st and 3rd for Versteeg - jmatchett383
Not directed at you, but when people list these trades, do they remember that Eminger was flipped for Matt Carle and Versteeg was flipped for 2 picks, 1 of which was Gostisbehere? |

Makes you wonder what you could have landed Kase for without a cap dump such as Backes |

It's really a credit to the coaching staff and of course the player. Players who cheated offensively and played poorly defensively have bought into how the coaching staff wants to play. They even have Voracek backchecking hard and playing responsibly defensively. - MJL
AV was probably like "this is my last chance to get a cup so if yall dont play hard and do what I say your life will be miserable"
And hopefully Jake and JvR realized that this is their last few chances too |

I regards to the Gerbe/Sanheim dust up: I feel that was a lose/lose for Sanheim
Cool look at me I whooped a 5'4" dude's as$ or if he loses he gets looked at as a pus$y.
I love how he stood up for a teammate but he was never going to come away from that looking good. |

Darn, I would’ve liked O Kase. That’s a rich return for him though, as have many of these deadline deals. |

Yes, but we also had to include 2005 1st round pick Steve Downie to get Eminger. The player trade value was a good trade, but we probably could have traded the first for Carle without having to include and (at the time) young up and coming player like Downie.
And yeah, flipping Vertseeg was good, but I'd rather they kept their 2 1sts and traded one of them to Florida for their 1st and 3rd instead. |

Gerbe was the one who started it with a straight glove to the face. Not like Sanheim jumped him or anything. |

Mainly rich with the Backes contract dump, plus they retained 25% on it |
